[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves My Little Pony so these My Little Pony Rainbow Tail Surprise is a perfect match for her. She loves putting them on the water and showing everyone the tail change. She loves playing he remake believe world with them also. Great for building their imagination. Even her brother has enjoyed playing with them. They love pretending they are flying when they run around with them. If your kids like My Little Pony they will enjoy these. Comes with 6 ponies. All tails change to rainbows. Fun for kids!

Looks like both sides of the tails change to different colors. I've posted pictures of before being put in the water and two pics of both sides of the tails after being put in the water and the last pic is after being out of the water and changing back.
Super cute ponies, and close likenesses of the ones my girls love to watch on TV. The tails pop off pretty easily and are kinda hard to reattach, the only reason I dropped a star. The tails return to being white once they dry . . . something that wasn't clear to me when I made the purchase, but it's not a deal breaker. My daughter loves to wet the tails over and over, so it's actually kinda nice! Good quality, satisfied with our purchase.
My daughter got them as a bday gift. More for bathtime as the tails change color in the water. However the tails all came off and we weren't sure if that was normal after one color changing. Maybe they should look into getting that fixed. But my daughter loves them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package comes with 6 Beautiful little ponies Just dip them in cool water and the tails change into rainbow colors and will turn back white fast just repeat the process. My problem is the quality. The quality could be a-lot better so far 2 ponies tails have came off the pony. One I was able to put back on.
The tails that change colors did not impress me they were not vibrant and they never went back to white it actually looked like they were scrapedthey were also too easy to break not worth the money
As many other reviews state, the tails fall off very easily. Each time my child uses them in water (as they are apparently intended for, as the main feature is the color-changing tails), at least one poor little pony loses a tail, turning a fun and peaceful bath into a meltdown. A tailspin? Anyway, I would avoid these unless you want to deal with mending a broken little heart right before bedtime.
This should not be for toddlers the tails are loose and they can be ripped off easily and become choking hazards. Would not recommend, it was cheaply made. Not surprised that it was discounted so much. I will be returning these.
All the tails have been falling off and my kids havent been hard on them
We bought this for my daughters birthday. After only 2 DAYS, 3 of the pony's tails completely broke off. The tails break and snap off and are unable to reattach them. We used the color change feature in clean filtered bottled water. Their are only 3 pony's left with functioning tails. I suspect in the coming days they too will unfortunately break off as well. We could not return them to wal*mart since we threw away the packaging when we bought it. We have My Little Pony toys from 2010 that are still in great shape after years of use from older daughter. Their quality is obviously declining. I should be reimbursed or given an exchange. Hasbro this is a total FAIL.
