I received MY Monopoly for free through BZZAGENT I think this is such a great idea Everyone loves Monopoly It holds such great memories in my family Epic family game nights! Now you can put your memories on MYMonopoly You can personalize it for someone's birthday or special event . There is a site you go to and upload all your favorite photos then you can print them on the sticker paper provided. You then peel and stick them to squares that fit into the My Monopoly board There are also chance and community chest cards you can personalize too I found it easy to do It didn't take to long It just depends on how much thought you put into the pictures. It was a hit with my family and I love that they give you enough sticker paper to personalize it more than once
Me and my boys really enjoyed picking out the pictures and setting up this game. We have many different Monopoly games and this has became our new favorite. When setting up the pictures be sure to include any wording you may want to be included on the game pieces themselves we forgot to do this the kids don't mind! We printed out enough pictures to put them on both sides of the tiles that way you can make a different game each time. Overall I think this is a great game and we will continue to have fun with it.
My Monopoly allows you to print out pictures of your family to create your very own board game specific to your family. The kids thought it was the neatest thing ever to see their faces on the board. It is a one of a kind board game you can even change when you want to if you have new pictures made or a new family event. Would be a great wedding present to make for a newly married couple, from dating years and wedding pics. The possibilities are endless. I got it free from being a bzz agent.
My family and I were given the awesome opportunity to try out "My Monopoly" courtesy of Hasbro! We have played over a dozen times. Just being able to personalize the game with our family photos made my children smile! It's so easy to do. Seeing the smile on their face after it was completed is nothing money can buy. There are extra printable stickers to change the cards if a mistake is made. I also think "My Monopoly Game" would make an amazing gift. I am very grateful that my family and I were chosen to test it out!
Fun new and exciting way to play monopoly! I received the my monopoly game for free as a perk being a bzzagent. I like that I can personalize the tiles with photos and phrases. Would have given 5 stars but I didn't because of a few reasons, 1 I don't like the new board because it folds in four and seems like it'll tear easily, also the game tokens are plastic, BRING BACK THE METAL TOKENS, also the my monopoly only allows for 2-4 players, while the original allows for 2-6, this monopoly also lacks the plastic storage piece for the banker to store the money. If you're old school and like originality then this game isn't for you, stick to the original monopoly.
As a BzzAgent, I got to try out MyMonopoly for free (thanks to Hasbro), and if I hadn't...I would most certainly buy it on my own. I LOVE gifts that you can customize and personalize, and really, the possibilities are endless with this game. I'm giving my finished game board to my nephew for Christmas, and he is going to be so excited to see his face and favorite photos on game cards. The process to make the game board is lengthy, but it's worth it in the end. It's very nice that they include extra sticker sheets in case you make a mistake. Also, you don't have to make a personalized board right away...there is the option to play the classic game, and when you're ready to make it your own...that's when the custom stickers come in. Three cons that I found with the game (and they are pretty minor): (1) I wished there was more than 4 tokens to choose from (2) I didn't like that the tokens were plastic (very minor), and (3) Adding captions for the sticker photos when making the game was a pain to figure out. All in all...this was a very affordable, fun way to make and give a personalized gift.
I recently got to try this game for free from Hasbro. The most difficult part was picking out a theme and photos to go with it. The website to upload and caption photos was easy to use. The game set came with enough stickers. The only issue I came across was that some of the stickers did not line up perfectly. For most of the pieces, it was not a big deal, but there were a few that people's heads went missing (my theme was travel & shows, so I had quite a few concert shots). Overall, it was an easy and fun project. My seven year old loved helping me put it together, and we had a blast playing it!
Received this game for free to review as a BzzAgent. Played this with my boys and we had a blast. The game is just like the traditional game, just with your own pictures. It did take a while to put all the photos on the pieces, however after we did that it was fun just like always. My boys loved seeing all of our photos on the game pieces. This is definitely a game you want to have in your board game line-up!
I was given the opportunity to try out this fun new Monopoly game for free courtesy of Hasbro and not only was I pretty excited about it but so was my 6 year old. We are big Hasbro fans and in this day and age we still love to have family "game nights", it's something I remember doing as a kid and now something my own son loves to do. This Monopoly game is very similar to the original except that you are given the option to completely personalize the game board. It comes with several pages of stickers that you must insert into your printer if you want to personalize it. (Like I said, you MUST have your own printer and ink to do this.) You have the option of using the monopoly apps on your phone, tablet, or even the computer. We opted for the easiest option for us which was the computer. You can login to the Monopoly app using Facebook which makes retrieving photos extremely easy and that's how my family did it. The reason I gave this game 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the problems we had printing the pictures. First off, I had issues with my ink which was my own fault but the biggest problem I had was the pictures would never completely line up in the squares. So after printing a few pages many heads were cut off, or tops and bottoms of the photos were cut off. My last sticker page turned out the best but all the previous pages really weren't usable. For this reason my only recommendation would be that the makers of the game provide more sticker sheets (or sell them separately) for people who come across this problem. Aside from the sticker issue, this game was a blast and very similar to the original. Anybody who loves Monopoly and the memories it brings from their own childhood will definitely love this game and I highly recommend it to give as gifts or even to keep as keepsakes. I plan to purchase one or two as Christmas gifts for family and think the game will be a total hit!
I was very excited to receive My Monopoly from Buzzagent. It came nicely displayed in the box with the game board folded in quarters and lots of square pieces that I could stick my photos too. The game looks great - finding the time to print the pictures is another story. The time I spent finding the perfect pictures to place on the stickers took me about 2 hours. The website was easy to use, however I could not figure out where to put text onto the pictures and of course some of the pictures did not fit in the little square. Then to print them up. I went through all the sheets that were provided in the game box and could not get the pictures to align with the stickers. Very frustrating after spending the time picking out the pictures. The game is played like the normal monopoly. It contains 4 plastic game pieces but every things else is the same. The deed cards are plain and not eye catching.
