This MyBaby Soundspa On-The-Go - Portable White Noise Machine by Homedics is AMAZING! It is a must needed item for any daycare or parent! My little bub is 9 months old and he instantly goes to sleep with the machine on. It's PERFECT for on the go and at home. I really cannot stress enough how important this machine is to have. It takes batteries and I use it nearly every day for an hour or more at a time. I've had it about a month and the same batteries are inside. It is easy to switch the batteries out whenever needed. I love the clip that can go right onto the infant car seat. I am going to have to try and find out how to clip it onto the next convertible style car seat since I will definitely be keeping this. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! Go get yourself one!
I swear by white noise machines! I have one in every bedroom because they truly seem to help my children sleep better. When I saw this sound machine, I knew it would be perfect for travel days! It’s small enough to slip into your carry-on or purse and conveniently has the little clip. I clip it right into the stroller to help calm the over-stimulation of the hustle and bustle. It’s super easy to use! Four different sounds; the “waterfall/rain” sound is our favorite. Takes three AAA batteries. I like how it has the timer so it won’t stay on all night if you prefer it to shut off. I would highly recommend! Would make a great baby shower gift!
Love this sound spa. Perfect for Grandma’s house. I use it when our Grandbabies visit. It’s a small size. Doesn’t take up room. Can be clipped on a stroller or car seat. Sits up well on a dresser. Produces an amazing amount of sound for such a small device. Has a timer you can set for 15, 30, or 45 minutes. Or it can just be left on all night. There is a choice of sounds… white noise, heartbeat, ocean, or musical lullaby. The volume can be adjusted as desired. I highly recommend this sound machine. I will buy more for our kids to take with them when they visit other destinations.
Babies will be fussy- its hard to come out into a really quiet or noisy world and it can be scary! That familar heartbeat sound, whooshing white noise or peaceful wave will help your little one to settle down.......all are available on this portable device, easy to attach to car seat, stroller or crib and with adjustable volume and preset timer. This was just the thing to calm our new granddaughter and worked like a charm. Highly recommended for parents, grandparents and any caregiver. Would also work for grownups or the elderly.....
I am a huge fan of sleeping to rain white noise. I feel like it calms the soul for a good nights sleep. I got this to incorporate this calming practice in my grandson. I really like the fact that its portable and small enough to take on the go and room to room if needed. It plays, heartbeat, twinkle twinkle, ocean and lullaby and has adjustable volume! The sound quailty is really good too, not muffled or staticy It runs on 3 AAA batteries and has a timer you can set for 15, 30 or 45 mins. I personally believe getting a child used to some type of noise while sleeping helps them to sleep through louder noises and we don't have to tip-toe around when baby is asleep. This little device is perfect to keep a calm baby sleeping. I highly recommend to any new parent!
This creates strange white noise which is kind of a higher pitch than I expect, and it sounds a bit grainy when you turn it up, I think because the speakers aren't the highest quality. But it definitely does the job and I like the multiple sound settings depending on what the background noise I want to block out it. It works for humans and babies too if you're looking for your own white noisemakers
I chose this product because it seemed like it would be a good portable option for a sound machine. I have mild tinnitus and I use a sound machine to provide a distraction for ringing in the ears while I sleep. My regular sound machine gets bulky when packed up to go for trips because the power cord is huge. When this machine arrived. I was pleasantly surprised. it is only palm-sized and is battery powered. You have to press the power button for 2-3 seconds to get it to turn on. It has 4 choices for sound.....heartbeat, light lullaby music, water waves and wind/rain. I did not like the heartbeat ( too creepy) or the lullaby music but I LOVE the water waves and the wind/rain sound. It also has a carrying clip. The size and portability makes this an awesome option for me to combat my tinnitus. I am quite pleased with this product.
Since I had a baby in the house when this item was delivered, I decided to give it a try right away. Everything was working fine until I pressed the second sound buttom. According to the directions, it should have played Twinkle Twinkle but what I got was static/white noise. I thought maybe it was broken, so looked it up on the WM website and on there, the sound is listed as white noise. I then googled Babies and White Noise and it's a thing! That was news to me, but I'm a Nana, so....! At any rate, the baby seemed to enjoy the ocean sounds best. And I really liked the timer option.
My daughter loves her travel sound machine. She doesn't sleep well without music or white noise. When we are home we typically use a smart device to put on her sounds, but we also camp frequently where there is no wifi. This sound machine just runs off of a few batteries, no connections required. There are several settings for music and sounds, there are several volumes as well. There is a clip to clip it to a car seat or crib, or it can stand on its own. Honestly, my daughter sleeps with hers. We get much better est on vacations and outings because of this little machine. Wouldn't leave home without it.
The sounds are barely there – I can hardly hear them, let alone my baby. Despite the options like heartbeat and white noise, the volume is a letdown. The built-in clip is cool, and it's sturdy, but if I can't hear it properly, what's the point? Battery-operated is convenient, yet the sound quality ruins it. The auto-off timer's neat, but honestly, I expected better. If you're hoping for a soothing travel solution, this SoundSpa might not cut it.
