I was always disappointed when the control for our Fujitsu mini splits was limited to their remote. The set up for the Mysa was very simple and guided on the app. We travel and it now allows me to monitor all 4 of our units. Plus, we have electric baseboards in the basement that we replaced the thermostats from Mysa. I can now monitor my entire home when away.
I am sooo thrilled with my MYSA MINI-SPLIT THERMOSTAT! (also my (8) YES (8) MYSA electric baseboard thermostats. From the installation & configuration/pairing to app - Everything worked flawlessly. The ability to control/monitor the temperature in ALL rooms remotely is FANTASTIC! Since this is a vac house, we are able to adjust temperature before we arrive. This home is rented periodically so upon guest departure we are able to remotely adjust temperature in house. I consider the thermostats as an INVESTMENT that will pay for itself as I am already seeing a savings! LOVE the app and all its features. I am a MYSA believer——HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!
Unit was easy to setup to our mini split. I can control all functions from my phone. Easy to navigate app.
I moved into a house that has daikin mini splits which I absolutely loathe, but these thermostats make them a little more bearable. There's a similar product Sensibo which I almost bought before I found these but I'm glad I found Mysa because I love the idea of having an actual thermostat on the wall and they look pretty cool. The HomeKit functionality is also great so you can include your mini splits in home automations and things. It's probably just a limitation of the API for thermostats in things like HomeKit and Alexa but one thing I wish I could do is set dry mode from those because currently there doesn't seem to be a way. The Mysa app and the thermostats themselves though have dry mode and swing toggle which is pretty cool. One feature I think has a lot of promise but is still in beta is the Climate+ feature which tries to help offset how terrible the mini splits are at reading the temperature in the room. It's definitely not perfect but I hope they keep working on that because I think it's a great idea.
I started using the Mysa for ductless heat pumps about two months ago. They are so easy to program and I can cycle my heat pumps off and on for optimal use of the heat in the rooms. We occupy great addition to an already great idea using Ductless heat pumps totally satisfied.
It took a long time to connect my AC's remote to the new thermostat, but once I got it it works very nice. It will be nice to have a schedule and be able to change the air temperatures when I'm not home. I also have the ones for the force fan wall heaters, I just wish they would make for a two wire installation
Once the unit is set up it is very easy to use either on the unit itself or on the app. The unit was a little stubborn getting set up. The app had a glitch that would not allow me to set the remote. It also took several attempts for it to find my remote. It also had problems updating the firmware. Product support was great though.
Great device and could use some UI enhancements, especially when adding your device. Also would be nice if the climate feature worked. From a remote use, its great but if youre not into tech, this is just an extension of rhe remote. For clarity, I have installed 4 units and rearly use the app.
I've been using this on my Mitsubishi Mr. Slim and it just doesn't seem to work right. When heating and fan set to auto it just runs on minimum fan speed and doesn't heat the room up to temp. I've tried pairing it with different pairings but still no luck. Doesn't provide all the features of the remote yet. I would love it to work and I've heard they are adding more features, but for now I will just be turning it off until my unit is supported more.
the firmware won't update. As it turns out the next available time that Mysa can talk to me is three days from now. I guess I will have to return it.
