The fabric is great and there is lots of room for baby's legs to move around so no hip concerns. Zipper on top and bottom is great and it hugs baby just enough around the middle for a little proprioceptive input. I don't use the breathing wear function all the time but if baby has been asleep extra long or I am concerned in the middle of the night, I can turn on the breathing detection and it will detect and show me his breaths per minute without having to check on him and possibly disturb him. I really love that option!
We love the new sleep sacks. Good quality and super easy to put on. Only thing is that they're a little snug around the chest. Our kids is in the 56th percentile so it is not her weight. It gets on ok just worried if she was any bigger. Other than that it's be a 5 star rating. Definitely get this.
It's saying well made, good fabric, cozy piece. But I've trouble with the zipper splitting frequently. So I'll have to wake the baby up to get the zippers realigned, so that it doesn't create a hazard. I'm not sure why it's this way. I have two different ones and they both do it. And my kid is definitely within the height and weight limit of the sack.
We love sleeping bags for our little one. On our medium sized bag, the zipper broke. We were able to fix it once, but then it broke again. Customer service has been so wonderful in helping us through this and supplying a new item. I love the peace of mind that little one is sleeping and breathing well while rolling back to tummy to back.
Purchased the medium and large sleeping bag when my daughter was 9 months old. She's in the 25 and 30th percentile for height and weight (roughly 21/22” long and about 18/19 pounds). The sleeping bag would not zipper up (too small) with lightweight pajamas underneath. She went right into the large sleeping bag. So for a baby that was still in 6-9 month old clothes the size Large (12-24month) sleeping bag is what fit her. Love the sleeping bag other than in my experience it runs very small. My guess is that She will definitely outgrow the Large sleeping bag by 13/14 months of age.
I can't zip it up all the way on my 6 month old. Using the 6-12month size so I doubt I'll get much use out of it since I have to leave it partially unzipped. Also since she rolls over onto her stomach the camera doesn't always pick up on the readings since the back Velcro is not as noticeable as the front.
The quality of the sleep sack material itself is great however the dimensions do not fit my little one whatsoever. Baby girl is on the smaller side of the recommended sizing despite this the torso and shoulder portion of the bag do not fit. Nanit was nice enough to send multiple sizes since it was a brand new product however for her suggested size I cannot zip the sack. While the next size up can be zipped it is too snug for my comfort as well as the shoulder/sleeves too loose. The nanit camera is wonderful though we will just have to stick to the breathing bands.
Not a good purchase at all I was so excited for this because I think it's a great idea. But my child is on the petite side- within the lower ranges of the weight that the medium fits. It was so right around her chest I couldn't close it. Also, it is so long even though my child is 99th percentile in height. Too much dangling past the toes. Do not recommend!
This is the second Nanit sleepwear item we have purchased. The first was the wrap but we were only able to use it for a week or two because it was so snug. Ordered the sleeping bag when it came out and unfortunately the bag shrunk in the wash (only cold water wash and air dried) and then within two weeks the zipper broke. I loved how the item works when it's on, but the wearables have sizing issues and quality issues. Love our nanit but will not order any additional sleepwear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 7 of these sleep sacks because I loved that we could use them for monitoring breathing with the camera. Purchased and less than 2 months later, the snap on the flap that covers the zipper has come off. My son has been chewing on the open flap and given how easy it was for the snap to come off, I worry about the other side of the snap coming off and becoming a choking hazard. When I reached out to customer service, because I had purchased more than 45 days ago (literally less than 60), there was nothing customer service would do. So, I suppose I will throw out all 5/7 sleep sacks I purchased because I don't want my son to choke. The snaps literally just fell off and I was lucky I found it hanging off and not my son!
