Love this sleep sack. We sized up as the medium was too small for our son (who runs on the small side generally), and this works great. It brings me great peace of mind. My only concern is the bulkiness of the velcro area, but he doesnt seem to mind it.
This fit me 6 month old very well. She's about 16 lbs and 27.5 inches. She sleeps great in it! Very soft and easy to get on and off and has a dual zipper for diaper changes. I especially like that the zipper runs along the bottom and side of the sleep sack as opposed to up the middle. My baby likes to sleep on her tummy now so I don't have to worry about a zipper pressing against her stomach and chest or the zipper flipping up and hurting her face or chin area. I really enjoy this sleep sack and how easy it is to measure her breathing in it, even when she's in the most awkward of positions, it still tracks very well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this sleeping bag as part of a bundle. Worth every penny. I was really impressed with the quality and thickness of this sleeping bag! My girl loves wearing this and hopefully won't be growing out of it anytime soon!
The Nanit sleeping bag works well. My son was beginning to be able to pull off the Nanit wrap when we transition to the sleeping bag at 12 months. The only thing is that at 15 months we can barely zip up the sack. Unfortunately, he won't be able to use it much longer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually like everything about this product except for the snap at the top. It basically doesn't work. It is entirely too shallow, and feels very cheap. The baby unsnaps it with one roll. I was originally going to send my order back, because I thought I had recieved a defective product, but it's such a hassle to returns things that I just kept it. It's fine, because she can still use it, but I just wish that part was made better.
I was so excited when Nanit released sleep sacks, as my baby had already been using a sack for 2 months prior to getting the Nanit camera. I ordered the medium and large because my baby is chunkier. I usually have him sleep in fleece so I had to use the large size. The armpit area is really tight on him and I feel like it is not comfortable, so I have gone back to his Halo sleep sacks and unfortunately can't use the breathing monitoring.
These sleeps bags are okay... I think they have a higher TOG level than 1 - not that these are rated. My son sweats with cotton jammies on under the sleep bag and his room is on average 68 degrees. These bags also shrink really bad. I wash all my sons clothes on cold and I did dry these as they say to. My son is 9 months old and weights 18 lbs and fits in the 12-24 months. He is actually below the average child in his height and weight range. Here's a picture for reference: left is washed/dried, right has not been washed at all.
I love the concept, but for a 1 year old that likes to squirm around her crib this wasn't an ideal product for us. Overall the sleeping bag is well made and extremely sturdy! The pattern works great to track her sleep but just not as functional as I needed. We have some sleep sacks that have the legs separated so they can still move around the crib and stand up upon waking. I think that would be a better idea for an older baby!
I wanted to love this but I just can't. The material is incredibly thick (like a sweatshirt) so we likely won't be using it as it keeps getting warmer. The zippers are difficult and the Velcro on the breathing wear band is always getting attached to something. I like the idea but it could be improved upon
Zipper comes on the track frequently virtually trapping my child in the sack until we can get it working again. After washing we found it too tight around her torso even with the adjustable Velcro. Love the concept, but the larger size we have for our toddler should be larger in my opinion. Hope to have better success with it for my youngest when he can fit in it.
