This cart has to be assembled and requires tools to assemble (a wrench and a hammer). The type of wrench is not specified. There are small parts, washers, cotter pins, that require some dexterity to handle and can be easily lost. The instructions are poorly written and hard to follow. Nowhere in the product description does it say that this cart requires assembly. I bought this as a gift for a woman who is a shut-in. She couldn't put it together and had to get someone to drive her to Walmart to return it. Not what I had in mind.
