Know your audience, but for the right kids this is an awesome toy. The cars take less than 10 seconds to charge up and they go lots of laps on a single charge. When a car comes off the track it tends to find its way back on to the track without being touched, due to the shape of the course. Designed with head-on collisions in mind, this toy clearly paid attention to the 1970's. It's a clear combination of Hot Wheels Sizzler tracks with Kenner's Smash Up Derby sets.
My daughter and I bought one of the Crash Racers Figure 8 tracks, then the long track, then another figure 8 track! Absolutely loved the brand until we got the Circuit Short track. This track doesn't fit together as well as the others, and the cars fall apart before even running on the track. Overall, we can still make the track work for other things, and we have plenty of cars from the other tracks we've purchased, but this is a set I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. If you want reasonably priced and lots of fun, BUY THE FIGURE 8!
