It includes the software and contains a good amount of beats (sounds) to mess with. I would say that this machine is great for any beat producer or just learning how to make music! It's fun and easy to learn how to use! Plus there is numerous tutorials on YouTube to help you as well!
I brought this item as a birthday gift for my boyfriend and he really loves it. He sit for hours and hours making beats, he loves his beat machine.
