I am currently breastfeeding and was recommended by my sister who is a R.D. and a lactation consultant to buy DHA supplements, from algae not fish oil, as they have found it tremendously beneficial to baby's development through the breastmilk. After some searching I came upon this product and she said it sounded great and to go for it. In terms of pain relief I haven't noticed anything but I also don't want to give it a low score because that's not why I'm taking it. I've been feeling great, the tablets are very easy to swallow and there is absolutely no taste. So far I'm very happy with my purchase and thrilled that I found a good product to help my baby's development!
I have been searching for a good vegan DHA that didn`t leave any aftertaste or fishy taste later and this is it! Great product, good price and a very high level per dose. Highly recommend.
As a vegan, DHA is very hard to get in your diet. I really like this product because it allows DHA into my diet without having to eat fish. Also, an added bonus, it doesn`t make you burp the fish taste, like fish oil does. And, buying this product online is cheaper than getting it at the store.
I am very impressed with Naturelo's Vegan DHA from marine algae. I have used fish oil capsules from other brands and sometimes you still burp it. There is None of that with Naturelo Vegan DHA. I have been taking 1 capsule (400mg DHA) per day. I have noticed hair growth, better positive mood and no fishy burps at all. This is a very clean product and it has NO fishy smell. I would definitely continue to purchase this fantastic product.
It`s hard finding vegan DHA -- or any supplement -- that is free of corn, soy and GMOs. This was the only vegan DHA I found that met those criteria. I`ve been very happy with it. And it has no flavor or after-effects (e.g. no burping) after taking.
So far so good with these gel caps. The brand I was using before this smelled terrible and would often cause fishy burps. With these ones the odor is much lighter and I've had no burps! I started taking a variety of supplements intended to reduce inflammation upon advice of a migraine specialist. I've experienced very minimal headaches since beginning this regimen, which includes these omegas. I will buy again when I run out. :)
I`ve recently started trying this product when a regular, fish-based DHA left my stomach hurting or made me nauseous. I really like this product, however the downside is that the capsules tend to stick together when you`re in a warmer environment. The last couple of shipments I received of this product was in the summer, and when the bottle arrived, all the pills had been stuck together and unable to pull apart without the capsules breaking, leaking the oils out of them.I definitely recommend this product, but I think the shipping methods need to improve - especially in the summer months.
I like these vegan capsules. They are easy to swallow and no after taste. I take them specially for my eyes and brain health. I am vegetarian so this is a very good source of Omega 3 for me. I also like that they are DHA and not EPA.
The capsules feel a little less stiff than other Omega 3 oil I have tried, especially if left out for a while before use , but none have split or burst. There is an odour from the capsules in the container, but I have not experienced any burp odours :-) Easy to swallow with water . My Dr has said my blood test results have improved over the last three months, but that has been in conjunction with diet changes, Omega 3 oils and a number of other multivitamins I have been taking, so these a part of a successful team for me, but I can't know if individually they are effective
Product capsules were all stuck together, either they were improperly stored @warehouse, or expired use by date. Delivery service was also questionable...this is second time these were ordered and also the second time they were "lost" for 5-10 days after carrier claimed they had been delivered. Gonna go back to Amazon product I was buying before this one.
