It works for me. I take it at night and it helps with the quality of my sleep. It seems to keep me calmer during the day as well.
I use 5HTP to help me sleep better. I get more restorative sleep and the best part is...no side effects. I just wish Walmart sold the larger bottle in store.
Natural ingredients, slow acting but stimulates body into releasing relaxing hormones.sleep has improved markedly, I recommend!
It took about 20 minutes to feel the mood-lifting effects SSRI's are supposed to induce. I seem to get side effects from most SSRI's in the form of headaches, heartburn, sweating, and heart palpitations. I also do not like the numb feeling SSRI's give me after prolonged use. This was an excellent alternative to Zoloft, Celexa, or Prozac. However, it did wear off extremely fast and I can see how it can become habit forming; the mood lifting effects are almost immediate and you don't want that nice calm feeling to end, so you take another. The fact that I craved a second dose is a little scary for a first time experience taking it. However, it does work. This brand in particular may actually be the cheapest on the market- that could also be why the effects of the chemical didn't last. It was synthesized and capsulized poorly by a manufacturing company that's competing at Walmart. I will try the more expensive brands and compare.
Am just starting to use this product and will see how it works but the price was right.
I think this stuff should be illegal it did the complete opposite for me had me extremely anxious and up almost all night I felt wired like I was on speed. Couldn't focus or concentrate on anything.
Made me feel horrible and got really sick. Waste of money!!!!!
