I have never had kale but kept hearing about it.. saw this and thought ok, I'll try it.. made one of our favorite suppers, fried chicken breast sandwiches, fries, corn on the cob. Usually make tossed salad but did this instead.. just followed the recipe on the bag. Couldn't be any easier.. after putting it into a serving bowl I did add salt and pepper. It was delicious, even the kids ate it. Will buy this again.
And our local Walmart has quit carrying it. So now I'm sitting here with a bag of plain shredded kale and I have NO IDEA what to do with it. *sigh*
Was worried I wouldn't like it by itself because I've heard kale was bitter. Mixed it with some sauteed onion, zuchhini, and mushrooms with a little soy sauce and it was awesome.
