This is a heavy duty mount with a magnet. We work construction and with all the bumps in the truck, this thing works perfect. It works so good I bought 5 more for all my work trucks.
I bought this for a second vehicle because I already have one in another vehicle and I love it. Powerful magnet holds the phone more securely than other, smaller magnetic phone holders. I like the windshield mount because it is easy to see map when Im driving. The first one adheres to the windshield securely, so I expect this to do the same.
