this must of been improved. it lasts for a day or night then u reapply the next day. I use it for cat scratches. I play a little with the cat and he and she get s rough sometimes but I quit and I have a burning and sore on my hand then I apply the Neosporin and it stopped hurting and it quits burning. the next day they r pretty fine.
This review for the Neosporin Original Ointment is a no brainer for me. I chose it because it's one of the best first aid ointments I've found. I used it on all my children and tell my grown children to use it on my grandchildren. I also use it on myself so I can personally recommend it. It is an antibiotic ointment and the number one doctor recommended brand that you can get across the counter. And being an antibiotic ointment, it kills germs, which helps to prevent infection and that's what you want for minor cuts, scrapes and burns on your skin. If you have small children or grandchildren you know they get a lot of those minor cuts and scrapes :-); and it doesn't sting. To my surprise in reading the inactive ingredients (I read everything lol) it contains Olive fruit oil and Cocoa seed butter and those are good for the skin. This is an ointment you should always keep in you first aid kit.
I've been using Neosporin Original Ointment for years this is Doctor Recommended even. I've also tried other brands which is cheaper but, I feel doesn't work quite as well as the Neosporin brand does. This is a first aid antibiotic ointment which I prefer over the cream it seems to moisten the cut and heal it a lot faster and keeps the scarring down they tell you to use it with a band-aid. This ointment is to be used in first aid for cuts, scrapes and burns I find it very soothing especially when I have a burn. It list all the ingredients plus the inactive ingredients. I like that's it's formulated with cocoa butter, cottonseed oil, olive oil and vitamin E. They also have an 800-223-0182 to call if you have any questions. If you never tried Neosporin Ointment before you really should give it a try and see the difference in makes for fast healing, less scarring.

Somehow, I managed to get a bug bite on my arm. A major feat since I rarely go outside. But, I got one, and it hurt. I tried everything. All the medicine and antiseptics I had on hand. They would relieve the itch and and irritation for a few minutes, but the discomfort came right back, and they did nothing to heal the bite. Then I got the Neosporin. Wow. I was surprised at the size of the tube. It's huge. Still not expecting much, I applied the ointment. I had nothing to lose. To my surprise, it helped right away. That was two days ago, and I have not had to reapply or endure anymore redness or itching. The bite is nearly healed. I would recommend this above all others.

I thought I'd try Neosporin Original Ointment as I've only been using store brand triple antibiotic ointment for several years. While thankfully there were no major boo-boos while I was trying out this product, I did have some small scratches that I get from time to time courtesy of my friendly furry feline. I was actually quite surprised at how fast those scratches cleared up. Yes, faster than the store brand I've been using. Only time will tell when it comes to more serious cuts and scratches, but I am pleased with this Neosporin product. It is a "go to" product to prevent minor infections and aid the healing process. I would recommend it for any family's first aid kit.
Seriously just ordered neosporin . It expires 4/24. This month. Why are you guys in all departments not taking stuff expired off the shelf. I do online shopping for a reason. My shopper is not the one who should be blamed it's the people who stock the shelves. I needed this today day !!! I never dreamed that I would have to tell my shopper to check stuff in the rx department.
