I bought this for my 5 year old son. He loves it. The glasses are a little big for him but he can still use them. He loves football and loves this football and uses it with or without the glasses.
My 8 yr of loves this new Nerf toy. He loves the light glasses and football. The ball reflects the lights that you wear. Works great!
I was lucky enough to get this product free last year to try out but we loved the product so much that we ended up purchasing extra goggles, the basketball set, and bouncy ball (that we use for catch) when we saw them on clearance at our Walmart. Nerf products are some of our favorites anyway but with the addition of the Fire Vision technology, my boys just think this is so cool. They actually use the goggles alone as well running around my grandma's huge yard in the dark. My oldest doesn't even like football but with the FireVision set, he was very eager to play with his dad and brother. I would definitely recommend it. I just wish that there were a way to recharge the goggles. 8 button cell batteries per pair might end up adding up. I'm going to look to see if I can find them in bulk somewhere.
I had to have this shipped to my kids in another state, but they came back with glowing reviews. I purchased two units so every member could have the glasses.. even the new baby (almost a year) found the package fun! My step grandson went out of his way to talk about this. Yeah, do this, its FUN!
I bought this as a gift for my 12 year old nephew.He asked for a football but requested to not have a "hard" one.He had a sleep-over for his birthday and the boys had fun running around playing ball with the glasses on.I can't comment on how well it lights up,etc. but it was a big hit at the party.
I got this for my son for his 8th birthday. He loves it! I thought the fact that he had a December birthday may put a damper on things, however, he was out in the yard in 19 degree weather playing with Dad and little Bro. They all raved about how awesome this toy is!
Even if you are not a football buff like my family is this will draw everyone outside to play!!
Young kids, teenagers and young adults all loved this football! It was a huge hit everywhere I brought one! And WalMart made it so easy - I never even had to go to the store! I clicked on it and they delivered it FOR FREE within 48 hours - I couldn't believe it! I don't know how they did it, but it helped me tremendously! The toy aisle is like a war-zone at Christmas and I was thrilled to avoid it!
We bought this for our 8-year-old and he is very excited about it. It works but is difficult to judge the distance well enough to catch and throw. May just take some getting used to.
This was a great item for a great price! Doesn't have a good spiral or grip but it's worth it. Fun to play with and cool features!
