My kids love how this model breaks down into different pieces for a customizable gun. The unit seems to be well made, although the firing action is a little loud for indoor use in my opinion.
This product has a boat load of options as to how you would like to customize the gun. Personally from my own use it seems to have more power and distance without the extended tip, but if you are sitting and sniping (from a hiding spot), it seems to be more accurate with the laser sight. Speaking of the laser sight, I would say it is a good concept to have an on/off switch, only thing is, it takes too much time to switch on and off. My only complaint is that; if it were more like the Nite Finder then it could be a quick half trigger scope without totally giving up your cover in the dark. Now with that said, it would be bulky if the scope was attached and so you wind up getting more customizable freedom with the on/off switch. If your set-up in a large arena, with multiple obstacles, this gun beats out the rest and for the price it's even more unbeatable. I highly recommend this product for any level of nerf player from a beginner (who will love all of the customizable options) to an advanced marksman (who will love the challenge of getting appropriate adjustments to make the scope spot on). It's Nerf Or Nothin'
I bought this gun on March 8 and only had a few problems with it. A lot of people say it jams but, if it jams you just take off the barrel and pull out the darts. It doesn't jam very often. DON'T PUT MORE THAN 6 DARTS IN THIS GUN!!!You can't beat the price. My brother, my cousin, and i all bought this gun. Although it doesn't shoot very far, it is very accurate. You can make at least 6 different guns out of the parts for it. Overall, of a scale 1-10 i would give it an 8. This is a great gun.
I would say the CS-6 is the greatest gun for a marksman, you have the laser or you can attach other scopes from other ranged Nerfs. I use it it for far range and I even switch up the darts I use buts thats my own secret. I would buy it if I didnt have one.
I love this nerf gun. it is my favorite and i have three. my nerf long shot lost distance in about 3 weeks. the recon cs6 i have had for 2 months+ and it still has as much power as if i bought it yesterday. it rocks i recommend it for all ages it could come with another clip but i just used my longshot clip and it works fine. buy extra darts and 2 aaa batteries take care of the darts my dog chews them up like crazy i love this nerf gun a ton and give it 10 stars
I PURCHASED THIS NERF PRODUCT BECAUSE IT INCLUDED 36 FREE DARTS A $10 VALUE MEANING THE GUN ITSELF WAS $10. AT THIS PRICE I CANT COMPLAIN. THE ONLY DOWNER THE GUN LOADS TOO STRONG AND BENDS SOME DARTS MY SON HAS TROUBLE SOMETIMES, BUT IT CAN BE WORKED OUT BY PUMPING THE GUN ALITTLE SOFTER. NEVERTHE LESS MY SON LOVES HIS NERF PRODUCTS
my friends and i like to play paint ball but this is a lot safer, and this nerf gun. you can hit right on target, and with the laser scope it is easier to make an accurate shot. well thats the end review hope you liked it.
My son likes the attachments and also the laser like beam. My son does not like that he has to pull the lever to the gun back to load. but overall good
This gun is great. I got it a couple days ago and love it. This gun is great for long range shootin. You will hit your target every time from yards away. GREAT GUN!
My son loved this gun immensely, putting it together, taking it apart and I was thrilled he had gotten something that occupied him so. But then about 5 hours later, after many, many times of shooting the darts become torn and get jammed or won't shoot at all. the gun itself gets jammed a lot as well. I would not recommend this gun for the price. Wish they would come out with better darts that aren't so flimsy!!!
