I was very satisfied with this gun. I have other Nerf products that are also very good, but this one tops them all. It feels very sturdy, but the sheild is a little flimsy and doesn't attach well to all guns, but it deflects darts well. The bipod works great, it never collapses, although it is challenging to remove. It also has a sight, which is extremely accurate because of the superior range. The switch is in a convenient spot, just flick your thumb and it's on. A final thing I like is that the jam check area makes the gun's moving parts get out of the way so you can see the problem, and it has a green dot that says if it is ready to fire. I dislike the positioning of some of the tactical rails-the shield won't attach to them. The batteries are also expensive and add a lot of weight to the gun, but the weight is at the back of the gun, so it is easy to carry. One problem I started having was when the darts push up and jam into other darts. It bent several of my darts, but luckily the gun stops before it shreds darts. The solution is to load the last few darts' rubber tips against the side of the clip, and then it works fine. One more thing I disliked was the condition of the package. It looked like they gave it to a three- year-old who was good at ruining things-but luckily the gun was in good condition. Overall, it is a great gun that will dominate in Nerf wars.
The product is exactly what I expected. Very pleased that I was able to purchase online to get the value package with the add'l ammo. I was extremely disappointed with Walmart sending the order in original Nerf box so that my son could see the delivered box and know what was inside. At this time of year, plain packaging should be a standard! When we arrived home from school the box was right on the porch ruining the surprise!
