This is an excellent value for a motorized watergun. And an excellent watergun. We bought three about three years ago. All three are still working. The kids, from ages 2-4, could easily use them and the motorized trigger was great for their hands. They got dropped repeatedly and still are working today. This year I went back and bought more, only difference is the new ones aren't faded from the sun.. My now seven year old has regular water fights with the neighborhood kids. All the kids use our new stock of water guns and love them. My two year old can also shoot it easily. It's now our go-to gift for birthday parties. We recently had a problem with one of the new ones that stopped working. Since it was quite new I called Nerf and they are sending a replacement. Can't rave enough about this water gun. All the other parents in the neighborhood are buying this gun for their kids. Better than buying the cheapo water guns every year that work for a week or two.
I bought this too keep the cats away and it works great. Cats are afraid of water.
