I love this an hasn't broke yet.
The gun worked great on my ground version! The Nesco jerky mix is the best also
loved everything about it
I JUST USED THE GUN YESTERDAY FOR THE 1ST TIME, USING 2LBS OF GROUND TURKEY. GUN WORKED GREAT. EASY TO CLEAN AFTERWARDS. USED THE DOUBLE STRIP TIP AND MADE GREAT 5" JERKY STRIPS. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Great product Great price
It's great to have a larger container plus the different ends to put on it. Very nice
This gun works very well, you just need to be very careful when pulling back that you don't rub your finger along the serrated catches as I cut my finger when the knob came off the end. Glued it back on and stayed mindful of the catches and no more repeats of the cut finger since. Do not completely take apart ( the serrated bar out of the handle, because there is no putting it back together). I decided to try a caulking gun type jerky gun that only lasted a couple of times and stopped working and cost more, so I went back to this one. Inexpensive, but works.
Easy to take apart and clean though i wish it had a longer tube to hold more meat. The "Original" spice packets were to "Black Peppery" for our liking. I think just the jerky gun by itself for $10 or less would be a good deal.
the item does not hold up. I put in some 95% lean ground beef in like the instructions say and when making the beef sticks the gun came apart.
It was going fine until the mechanism in the Handke broke while using it for the first time. Probably got through 4 pounds of meat before it broke. I can see the small piece in the handle that bent and can't get to it to try and bend it back but it's all cheap plastic and thing metal that can't hold up to the job.
