Love the JGS line from NETGEAR, recommend it for the home network nerds that want a GUI interface to have some control over specific network protocols. I already have the JGS524PE and had a simple NETGEAR 8 port die on me, being I have several POE connections, it was time to dump the two small 8 port units and get the 16PE. It was tricky getting into it the first time via the PROSAFE app, nothing that can't be overcome if you understand how to configure your desktop to do so, maybe NETGEAR can revisit that part of it making it a little bit more plug and play. I recommend this unit and all NETGEAR products, I have the ORBI 850 with 2 S850's, JGS524PE, JGS516PE and CM1000.
So far this switch works AWESOME... The configuration utility is a little difficult to access, basically, I was unable to access it without disconnecting it from other devices.
This POE is serving my needs at work. It has been a great product for powering my AP throughout our Admin office. I would recommend this product to anyone.
My client with a small business office had a need to prioritize their IP phone traffic over the computer traffic. The NetGear product worked perfectly and had the best price point.
Using this switch in a house we built that has a combination of POE security cameras and in-the-home gamers that require 1Gbit wired. Very easy to setup and secure with seperate VLANs.

Got this switch for working with equipment at work, and so far it has been great. I needed the Gigabit speed, along with IGMP snooping and multicast features, without having to deal with a fully managed switch. this is great. Plug and play. For anyone that just needs for a robust office switch, this is great. has the bandwidth for VoIP, AVoverIP and zippy fast LAN speed for everything else. Perfect for my application and I couldn't find a better price on a comparable switch. Very happy with this device. PLUS it's whisper quiet. Super bonus.
Switch works well and user management interface is clean and easy to navigate. The only issue I have is the fan has a ticking sound, most likely because of the POE portion.
This switch did the job. It seemed a little quirky when I had it set to get its management IP address from an un-tagged port. I think it is an issue wit the firmware. It actually seemed to pick up the address from a TAGGED VLAN, but setting it statically seemed resolve the issue. Otherwise the switch powered up the yealink phones I wanted on their own VLAN.
Decent 16 port POE switch. It has the power I need to run APs and Poe cameras. The pice that falls short for me is lack of configuration. Not much to tweak under the good. But it gets the job done at a low price point.
