I have around 10 to 15 devices connected to this router and it works just fine. I've never had to restart the router, only for configuration changes I made. The only thing missing is tha VPN for mobile devices. You can have a VPN to connect to your home network from outside but it only provide support for PC, Linux and Mac, not for mobile devices.
We have a large home with three levels. Set this router up in the basement, where the old one was and, what an improvement! Now there is a strong signal throughout the house, even in the garage!
I recently purchased this item online and had it shipped to my local Walmart the same day. The instructions were very good and I was up and running in about 30 minutes. I have 8 devices running on this router and it performs great. I would recommend this product to anyone. The difference between the cheaper units and this one is the quality of the unit, the software, and the documentation.
Good quality and works perfect I have found no flaws as of now. The apps are sooooo easy and I love what they offer like the parental control app ❤️. All managed through the app. easy set up and easy to manage. Hopefully they will continue to produce these type of quality products
I purchased this Netgear router after fighting with my Linksys AC1200 for almost a year. The Netgear AC1750 is so much more reliable in my experience with it so far. The linksys that I replaced had frequent connection issues that all pointed to cheaper electronics and components. Even after pleading my case to linksys customer service, they were extremely hesitant to give me a replacement because their "technician" was able to temporarily resolve my issue. So after many months of customer service technical firmware troubleshooting I decided to bite the bullet and try Netgear. Wow what a difference! Super smart router, easy setup, and no issues with connection! I am proud to say that from now on I will be using Netgear products in my home.
This router was easy to set up and works fine with about 9 devices in my house. I hope it does as well when the rest of my family comes next Thanksgiving. My previous router was technologically out of date and frequently couldn't keep a connection with devices.
Turned off the Verizon box. Returned two hours later with the Netgear AC1750 (R6400) and connected into the Verizon box's place. Connected my MacBook to the factory WiFi and the Netgear Genie popped up. I let the genie do everything automatically and we re-established our internet connection within 6-7 minutes with no input from me. As we have multiple network devices from TiVos, Rokus, Apple TV, Steam Stream and smart TVs to Wink, Arlo, Ecobee, Chamberlain garage door, Synology NAS. And then come the VoIP phones, printers, phone, iPads, MacBooks, PC's Cisco Smart switch, Engenius AC-AP, and the list goes on seemingly forever... 37 total devices all connected without a hitch. Zero issues. I mean ZERO. So far we have noticed a snappier network with no pauses, but a day or two is not enough time to determine connection reliability, except to say, no issues so far. If any surface, I'll update.
I think the is a great product. The tech support people that I have talked to have all ben very professional, and they certainly know their product. All in all, they were great!
We were loosing our router connection every other day, if not more. We had to continually reboot the router to get our connection. Since we have installed the Netgear ac1750, we have not lost the router connection. I had to call in to get the router up and running, could not get it with the basic instructions.
We were having a problem losing our internet. We had a technician come out thinking it was their modem causing a problem only to find out that the real problem was our old wireless router. I looked online and found this router that had a very rating plus antennas to direct the signal. It was so easy to install and we have not lost any internet coverage since then. I would highly recommend this router for wireless coverage.
