This router not only displays the highest quality, but allows me to have cable, WiFi, and phone services all through one router. Most other routers only provide one or two of those three services requiring you to have to purchase two separate modems, which is not ideal. Having all services run through one modem is much more efficient. This modem also has a very sleek look.
Bought this modem router to replace my Xfinity unit. The AC1900 will save me money in the long run since I will avoid the monthly Xfinity rental. The AX1900 is faster than the Xfinity unit. I maintain my Comcast internet and phone services. Also I can add a backup battery to the AC1900.
I'm very happy with my NETGEAR Nighthawk. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone. I'm very satisfied with the product.
Awesome router - works great!! Took me a while to connect with a life human at Comcast to get it working properly, however once that was accomplished, no problems with the router itself.
It was easy to set up using the supplied instructions. Works as well if not better than the Xfinity version and has the same array of inputs. It will save me a bunch, I will recoup the purchase price in just a few months.
I am a tech rookie and I was able to get it up and running with minimum head scratching. I am replacing Comcast modem/router to try to reduce expenses.
I have had this modem router for years now and it has never let me down. It is very strong and durable it is dependable and serves its purpose and all my needs. Can handle what ever you throw at it.
Item came in a plain brown box typical of refurbished items, not the Netgear consumer/retail packaging that it usually comes in. The quick start instructions had handwritten serial number, mac address, etc. which is also unusual/suspicious. I gave New Day 2 stars instead of 1 because they were quick to respond about postal delay which I don't believe was their fault. I am returning the item for a refund.
Item advertised as NEW. But there are obvious signs of use. Actually looks old. With a manufacture date of 2018 it is unlikely that it was sitting on a shelf unopened and, therefore, unused.
The online product description did not say used or refurbished. The images of product included original packaging. It delivered in a plain brown box, no shipping invoice, no product manual/documentation and no original packaging. I immediately went to Walmart to return because it appeared anything but new...maybe stolen, maybe returned, maybe refurbished all of which were not acceptable to me.
