I love my ORBI..it's the first time since moving to Silver Springs that I have wifi continuously. No more buffering every few minutes while watching movies.
I was having issues with my new fiber router connecting to some older devices. I added an Orbi router to bypass the one provided by my ISP. Everything connects and runs smoothly throughout the house!
This was an easy install. I love how the app allows you to select which devices can connect to the router. My speed is a lot faster. Definitely needed this upgrade.
Easy to install. Only issue was adding my Brother Printer but was able to get solution on their support site. I'm very pleased with this purchase. My sporadic disconnection issues are resolved.
I bought the router with satellite over 4 years. Since the ISP provided the modem with router, I did not use Orbi for 3 years. Recently, I upgraded my internet speed to 2 GBPs. I realized some of my home appliances such as robot vacuum cleaners could not communicate with my iPhone. I have to use Orbi router with satellite which can communicate with them. So, I like what I set up now. Otherwise, my iPhone could connect with the appliances.
Very good speeds and coverage (house is 1 story and <2000 sf). Mostly easy to install/configure. Had some trouble pairing the satellite, and my Sonos soundbar had to sync with an ethernet cable (just would not work over wifi)...hence the 4 star rating vs. 5 star.
The product itself works great. Dont have to pay for wifi with this. The app could use some updating. Lots of users having issues with initial setup. Use your smartphone, go to manage router . Donsetup from there. There is an issue with firmware not being able to update through the app
Orbi system was extremely easy to set up. Simply download the app, scan the QR code on the router and follow the step by step instructions. Once set up it took a few minutes for all of my 27 devices to connect. The coverage is much better. My internet speed did not improve but I did get a much stronger signal throughout my 2100 sq ft home. I am very pleased with Orbi.
Not worth the money. It keeps going offline and I have to reset constantly. You have to pay extra for technical support and when you google it you have to be an IT person to understand how to fix it.
The router came in an Amazon box with all the parts bubbled wrapped up. It didnt even have that original box that it came in. No where on the site did it say it was refurbished or had been opened and returned. I returned the product because if Im buying something that pricey I want it to be new and unopened.
