A really nice change for us. streaming is now what it is suppost to be.
Hard to beat! This router has been very legit. It's an easy all in one package. Its fast, safe and strong.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been in the market for a modem and router combo. I especially looked at all the netgear equipment and I have to say the Orbi has exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking into it. My next buy will be the add on satellite to go with it.
Please change your information page! Netgear identified and fixed an issue last year with a firmware update. Download speeds went from 600-700 Mbps to 1.4 Mbps on Xfinity. This is an awesome product. Truly, the only product to provide a whole house MESH network for my 5000 sqft house with one router and one satellite.
We replaced our old router as we were getting speeds around 30mb/s. We replaced our router without upgrading our service and we now get speeds up to 400 Mb/s. Highly recommend!
I just moved into a new home and could not get a signal in certain areas and discovered I was only getting 30 Mbps of the 100 Mbps I subscribe to. I purchased and installed the Orbi and now get more than 100 Mbps in every area of my home.
I've had to restart this router daily— sometimes numerous times per day— for the past couple of months. Before that, it still needed to be restarted every month since it was purchased. I thought this would be an upgrade from the original Nest mesh… I was wrong. I paid for the best at the time thinking it would last… I was wrong.
Bought this modem/router with the ability to add satellites. Speed is fine and coverage is good on the WiFi side but constantly loses internet connection. Sometimes having to reboot the device 1-2 daily to reestablish connection. Spoken with both Spectrum and NETGEAR but no resolution so far besides keep resetting the unit.
I keep getting purple light mode. I've gone through everything on the troubleshooting website. Bad unit?
Drops signal constantly this can't even cover 1500sf. When it works it works fine but it drops signal constantly it has to be turned off and on several times per day to get actual use.
