I bought this along with the Netgear Rangemax wireless router. Signal strength has increased and speed has doubled. Would recommend.
This card works really well in my wife's computer on the second floor of our house with 100% signal. I have a Netgear Rangemax WPNT834 router in the basement and they work very well together. Skip the install with the included disk and get the latest driver from Netgear to avoid any installation problems. You should install the driver before you install the card. I personally prefer to remove the bug-like icon and startup files from the startup folder since it is unnecessary to have running. The card works without that program after it is installed. If you have a problem later, you can right click the networking icon and choose the "repair" option. Don't forget to encrypt and password protect your wireless connections, done at the router setup. I purchased online.
Easy to set up. Just installed the software, then the product. Connected immediately.
