I was needing a place to hold the mail before I had time to read it. One of the chores of my kids is to get the mail, but we didn't have a place to put it. Now we have the basket on the steps right inside our door where they come in. Problem solved. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars on appearance is because it is a little bent from shipping and I was really wanting a dark brown. It is very reasonably priced for the quality, because others I was looking at cost $40-$60.
I have been looking for a step basket for a while now. I found several on the internet but they were all very pricy. This one was not only reasonably priced, it is a beautiful basket. I am impressed!! I literally use it every day- it holds plenty and looks great.
I had been shopping for this step basket for a very long time and I couldn't be happier with this one! It is beautiful as well as functional! Also, the Site to Store shipping was convenient and free!
I have been looking for a basket to hold stuff on my basement steps for weeks. Everywhere I looked the baskets were small and very expensive ($50 or more). I finally found this basket at Wal-Mart.com and it is perfect. I was not sure what to expect from the picture but...it is really big, fits perfectly on the steps and even with paying for shipping/handling, it was still cheaper than others I had been looking at. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product!
I actually purchased this for my mom. She has lots of "dog" stuff and she has easy access to it when it's time for a walk.

I love my stair basket, it is a beautiful product and matches well with my decor. It was by far the best value of any around and believe me I checked. I can save so much time and mess by just throwing all those little annoying things my family leave around in the basket for them to pick up later, rather than running upstairs each time! The only down fall is the bottom drop is slightly too large for my stairs, but this wouldn't stop me from highly recommending it.
I always have things sitting on my steps that need to go upstairs and I was hoping this basket would be a great solution to keeping the clutter organized until it can get where it's suppose to be. Unfortunately it's too large for my home. The rise is about an inch to tall to allow the basket to sit on the steps they way it's suppose to. Also the overall size is bigger than I expected and takes up too much room on the stairs. I'm going to have to return it. The quality of the item is very nice and as long as you have a nice wide staircase with the correct size stair rise, it would be perfect.
For the price I was disappointed in it. I was disappointed in the color and material.
