I have adult acne, and there is nothing, short of prescription medication, to prevent break-outs. I have tried most every over-the-counter medications and washes, and have found that Neutrogena's Clear Pore is the best product for acne. The product works and works fast. Not only is it a cleanser, but also works as a mask, which offers double the benefits of other acne products. It's good stuff!

I'll apply the mask and shave so I can get both done quickly. My breakouts are starting to clear and I credit daily use of the cleanser/mask.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Neutrogena Clear Pore® Cleanser/Mask for free from Home Tester Club to try in exchange for my honest feedback. It can be used two different ways, as a cleanser or as a mask. I used it both ways, although I preferred the mask. I really like this product! After I applied the mask, I felt a cool, almost peppermint like sensation on my face. It was wonderful! I could actually feel it cleaning my face. You leave it on for about 5 minutes. I did it while I was in the shower. Afterwards my face was so soft and I could just tell it looked cleaner and felt smoother. Also, I have 2 teenage sons, who are experiencing that dreaded teen acne, and I have a hard time getting them to use anything. I talked them into trying the cleanser. They were impressed with how much cleaner their faces felt. They prefer the cleanser method. I can honestly say I will definitely be using this from now on. Its like having 2 products in one! I just can't get past how clean it left my face!
I am 19 and I never had acne in high school but once college started, acne took over my cheeks and my chin. I would also occasionally get acne on my forehead. This product not only cleared it up after literally a week but it would calm down my active acne that i had. The fact that it is a cleanser and mask in one is great. I just leave it on my face while i shower! Once you wash it off, your face feels so refreshed and alive. I would seriously cry if they stop making this product. I would recommend to this anyone!
I've used this product for several years now, for several reasons. I LOVE the fact that I can use it as a wash or as a mask. There's another paste similar in texture to this one - called Blackhead Eliminating - but I prefer this one. I keep a bottle in the bath, so I can wash my face every day, and if I have time I can leave it on my skin as a mask. It firms up my skin, removes oils, and leave my face feeling smooth and soft. The smell of this product is incredible! It soothes my mind while I wait for the mask to dry. It's a slight camphor smell (I think). Now sure what the ingredient is but I don't think it's menthol, for some reason. Anyway, I keep returning to this time-and-again. I like to change products often, but this is the best stuff, in my opinion. Also, it takes VERY LITTLE of the product to wash or use as a mask, so a bottle lasts me about 6 months! Can't be beat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this product as a mask but not as a cleanser. The product is very goopy. You have to be careful not to squeeze too hard or before you're prepared to use the product. It's very messy. Once applied to they skin, it's very thick which I don't like but I guess it needs to be to deep clean. As a mask,I like how it works in just five minutes and tingles while it's working. I would use this product again but only as a mask. I would recommend it because it actually is good as a deep cleansing product. I think it's good for preventing acne and maintaining healthy skin.
