I had been in the market for some good spray on sunscreen for a while. After years of using regular sunscreen lotion, it gets tiring to have to rub it in for it to be effective, and to not look like you have a large white smear on your skin. Also, having to wash your hands after application to rid them of the dirty, greasy feeling, takes up time when you're on the go. When I came across Neutrogena CoolDry Sport Spray with SPF 30 on the Spark Reviewer website, it seemed to be exactly what I needed and it did not disappoint. I wanted something quick and easy that I could put on myself. Something that would go on cool, but was non-sticky and non-greasy. Something that dries instantly with little to no rubbing in required. Something that smells good like you're ready for the beach. The CoolDry Sport Spray was exactly all of those things. I frequent a lot of day baseball games so this was perfect for me to use comfortably and often. Additionally, the 5.5oz bottle is the perfect size, it appeals to the eye, and the SPF 30 was perfect for me. Another good thing is that you could always get a stronger SPF because they have the same product in different SPF strengths. No cons as of yet!

Waiting for Spring.

We're in the cooler fall season now so I probably won't be able to actually test this product until next spring and summer. What was funny though is it took me a bit to figure out how to get this aerosol can to spray. I thought the top came off but it doesn't, it's a spin top so you turn it to open it and turn it to close it. Pretty nifty, I thought! Once I figured that out I sprayed a little on my arm just to get a feel of it and it really is a nice lightweight spray. The smell seems to be a bit lighter than the average sunscreen lotion and I really do like the spray application which is something I've never tried before. I usually do use a SPF of 30 or higher and I think this Neutrogena CoolDry Sport Spray will work great especially when I'm outdoors doing yard work or walking. It's small enough to carry around in my purse so I can take it anywhere. It didn't feel greasy at all and seemed to dry pretty quick, too. I can say this could be a product that I look for again in the spring of 2016. I'm going to go ahead and recommend it and give it high marks because it is Neutrogena!

I am a very light skinned blonde and usually hide from the hot summer sun. When I found this SPF 30, I came outside. It isn't greasy when sprayed on, it is nice and dry. It had a nice fragrance that vanishes quickly once it is exposed to the skin and sun. because it's not oily, you can just spray and go.

Awesome way to get sun protection!

The Neutrogena Cool Dry Sport Spray SPF 30 is SO convenient! I've never tried the “spray on” sunscreen (I realize how far behind the times I am), and I have been MISSING OUT! Application time is so quick and clean (no mess, no greasy hands). The face area is kind of weird; I just held my breath and closed my eyes and squished my lips inside my mouth. It actually worked! I really expected the “spray on” to be regular sunscreen but “squirty” and still need rubbed in, it was more like aerosol deodorant. I haven't tried the non-sport kind so I"m unsure if this stays on better through sweat and such. However, I trust the Neutrogena brand; so this product gets two thumbs up from me!

Ahhh, the sunscreen battle that everyone goes through each summer, (don't forget the rays can be just as bad in the winter too!) with trying to find one that is just right. Most people are looking for the same thing, a spray that coats evenly, isn't too oily, doesn't rub off immediately, and doesn't need applied constantly when sweating. This met all of these for me, and don't make the mistake of thinking you need some super high SPF, do some research to see the higher amounts are not generally all that more effective, but cost a ton more. I have found that I like Neutrogena sunscreen sprays the most out of all of the brands. It doesn't get clogged, it's an even spray, and I do not feel like I am wasting a lot of it with over spray either. It really does go on with a dry feeling so you do not have to deal with that slick greasy feeling that puts an eye glaring sheen on your body when you apply it. Going to places like the beach or when you are out hiking, for example, this feature comes in very handy as sand and dirt won't be instantly attracted to you because you lack the oily leftover residue. It is also great when applying right before leaving so you don't left an impression of yourself on your nice car seats or someone poor unsuspecting persons couch.

Neutrogena has always had trustworthy products for sun protection. I really like this spray. I go for long walks, and don't get sunburned. I do get a light, nice tan. For my face, I spray some on my hands, rub them, then apply.

If you play a lot of tennis like I do outside you really have to watch out for the sun. I've tried most sunscreens on the market and found them oily and uncomfortable. This product is quite diferent in that it sprays on cool and dry feeling and absorbs fast. It has a nice fresh scent isn't sticky and definitely protects you from sunburn both UVA and UVB rays. They say its micro mesh technology allows the sweat to pass through while the product stays on your skin, it must work because I didn't get sunburned. It can sting your face if sprayed directly on so use your hands to apply here. For intense outdoor activities you can't beat it.

Back in the seventies I used to lay out in the sun every afternoon, listening to the radio station that played the cool music and also told us sun-tanners when it had been twenty minutes so that we could flip over to get an even tan. Little did I know how bad this was for my skin! Now I need to protect my skin from that same sun that I used to worship with a passion. I worry about skin cancer and early skin aging (wrinkles). Along comes this new Neutrogena CoolDry Sport sunscreen Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 30 with Micromesh. It's actually water resistant for 80 minutes and the spray evaporates away, leaving me feeling cool and clean, with no stickiness! This has a soft, pleasant scent like a woman's cologne. There is a slight ‘over-spray' when sprayed on, but it's like a dry spray, not oily. Once you spray it on, you rub in with your hands. It rubs in quickly and doesn't leave your hands feeling oily. I've worn this during several of the hottest days, walking up to four miles in the hot sun and not once did I have a white streak run down my face! This sunscreen spray goes on and stays on! Do NOT spray directly on your face! Spray it on your hands and then rub it on your face. The old saying is that you can't teach an old dog a new trick, but this old dog has learned a new trick that will protect her skin from cancer and/or early wrinkles. I highly recommend this Neutrogena CoolDry Sport Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Spray!

Offers The Convenience I Was Looking For!

Recently, I received a container of Neutrogena Cool Dry Sport With Micromesh Sunscreen Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 30. (Picture enclosed). Applying sunscreen by spraying it on is a great idea. I get redness on my collarbone and forearms when I do not use sunscreen. I use moisturizer with SPF 15 or above for my face. I did notice it gave precautions that a consumer should follow such as "Keep away from face to avoid breathing it." "Keep out of eyes." "Spray liberally and spread evenly by hand." The button on the sunscreen bottle was hard to push (I have arthritis in my hands) so it was a little difficult to spray so that I could apply it. The sunscreen itself worked. After using as per directions, it felt good on my skin and offered the protection I was looking for. I may be better off using a lotion type sunscreen and some kind of applicator.

We live in south Florida so blazing hot summer sun and high humidity are not exactly uncommon. When you consider you can (literally) fry an egg on the hood of your car (or the concrete driveway, for that matter) you quickly learn not to mess with the sun. Spending time outdoors definitely requires some sort of sun screen - the higher the SPF, the better. The down side of that, however, is the greasy, oily nature of most sun screens. In fact, talk to any lawn care professional and they'll tell you NOT to use the oily stuff - it clogs the skin pores and can actually cause heat exhaustion (or stroke, if prolonged). Enter the cool dry sun screens. There's no greasy, oily mess to clog pores (or look ridiculous), it stays on even while sweating (also not uncommon in south Florida), and even has a decent, unobtrusive aroma. This particular brand/type comes in an aerosol can - so application is easy and uniform. There are those who say SPF 30 isn't near enough protection for a day at the beach (and that may very well be true), but I found it quite enough (AKA no sun burn) after a day working in the yard in mid August. The only strange part of this product is the cap. It's somewhere between genius and idiotic. Most aerosol cans have a removable cap - this one twists to align the spray nozzle with a hole in the cap - only then will it spray. The "Pro" is not having a separate cap (which often is lost or pops off in a beach bag). The "Con" is having the cap twist around in that same beach bag - with the same results - a bag full of sun screen. Bottom line, it's easily and uniformly applied, not oily or greasy, smells decent, and appears to work quite well - at least for moderate sun exposure.
