Highly recommended to protect skin from harmful rays.
For years, I've wanted a simple, SPF-only liquid that is non-moisturizing. My frequently changing, problem skin requires daily adjustments in my skin care, but one thing remains constant: the need for sun protection. This product lets me customize my skin care as needed. I used to spend $42 on a luxury brand, secretly hoping my trusted Neutrogena would come through with an affordable version. And they have!
I can't seem to find this at my local drug stores anymore. Please do not discontinue! This is the best sunblock I've ever used.
I tried the Pure & Free Liquid Daily Sunblock SPF 50 first and I hated it (it left a white, dry mask on my face that became a mess when I put makeup). This one, however, it's much better for combination skin. It's invisible, feels light, matte, and dry, but not like a white mask, and is not oily either.
After looking high and low for a sunscreen, I have found my "holy grail" of sunscreens; I normally order from a retailer in Japan for a non-irritating sunscreen, but no more. This sunscreen has the consistency of a mineral block and is suitable for my truly sensitive skin. It takes very little and works well under my make-up. Even in our humid weather, the sweat did not affect this sunscreen.
I bought this to replace a more pricier product. It's lightweight, not greasy and does the job well.
Any SPF of this product which is fantastic for oily skin. I use the Untra Sheer Liquid when I go out because I love the aroma of it. I use Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch sunblock arount the house because it doesn't smell as strong as the Liquid which costs a bit more and the perfume is stronger. Some people have allergies and break outs with all kinds of products. If you're not allergic to this one you're lucky because it's great! I'm 70 and still have very oily skin if you can imagine that!
. . . how much I love this, since that almost always seems to be a sure sign that it will soon be discontinued! But that would be a huge mistake for Neutrogena -- I've tried every facial sunscreen under the sun (no pun intended!) and this one is the best -- no clogged pores, no white residue, and I LOVE that I can easily mix it with my usual daily moisturizer. Perfect!!
I am a film/tv makeup artist and this is THE best sunscreen I've ever used for the face. Absorbs quickly and dries almost instantly to the touch. Does not run into eyes when you start to sweat like most do and the best part is that is so easy to apply under makeup. No greasy feel left behind to break down the makeup. Absolutely IDEAL for bald men to make sure their heads are covered and protected daily. LOVE the pure and free liquid, but I think they discontinued that one. Please don't ever let this one go...it's a keeper!
It's as if I have nothing on my skin at all!
