This is the best sunscreen on the market !!! I highly recommend "Neutrogena Pure and Free Baby Faces Ultra Gentle Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45" for anyone who is allergic or sensitive to perfume based products! Not only does it hold up well to sweat and water, it applies easily without waxy, white or oily residue on the skin. My 4 year old grandson is extremely allergic to perfumes of all types. We have literally tried tons of sunscreen products, including a prescription cream sunscreen. Most have resulted in a trip to the doctor's office for severe reactionary medication from hives, welts, or chemical burns. We can apply this all over him, including on his face!!!
The best sunscreen on the market! Does not make you break out, non greasy feel and believe it or not helps clear acne! What else could you ask more? I highly recommend not just for babies and kids but for adults too!
I have sensitive skin due to rosacea. I have tried MULTIPLE sun screens for sensitive skin, but they all irritated my skin. The Neutrogena pure and free baby faces is the ONLY sun screen that my skin tolerates. I highly recommend this product.
My daughter and I rely on this sunscreen. No other sunscreen by Neutrogena works for us (and this is a god-send after Neutrogena discontinued the sunscreen I used for 17 years). If this is being discontinued, can you please let us know? We are sad to leave the Neutrogena family, but need to know if we have to look elsewhere if this product is no longer being made. (Suggestion: for parents like myself, who use this along with their children, please keep making it. If it's cheaper, don't stock it on the shelves, but still let us order it online. This sunscreen goes on so smoothly and dries fast. It smells wonderful and is very light on my skin. I have had allergic reactions to several other sunscreens so was so happy when I tried this one and had no reaction. My dermatologist recommended this for me and it works. Love this product!!!
I loved this! I used it on my face over the July 4th holiday - it hit 107 at one point and we were constantly in the water. Not only did my face not burn, but there were no breakouts or crazy irritations going on. (I spent the entire summer last year trying to cure my face and lips of burning, peeling reactions to various sunscreens, lip glosses and lipsticks.) It is a zinc-based product, so you will have to rub it in WELL. Did not feel greasy to me. The only facial sunscreen I will use from here on out!
I am an adult, but use this and it works well to block the sun. I went to the beach last week and used it and did not get sunburned, even though I did not stay in the sun too long. I wear this on my face daily and it works well.
It's a little bit hard to spread this sunblock evenly on my son's face, and you can see white mark if you don't want to rub really hard. So I mixed this sunblock with baby lotion, then directly put it on his face, neck, arm, and it works great! For his leg or feet, I prefer to use Neutrogena spray sunblock, since it's much easier and you don't have to worry he can breathe in it. But before you try any lotion on babies, please just put a tiny amount on his/her wrist, or back ears to see if cause any allergy.
I got this sunscreen hoping that it would be very light and gentle for my skin especially because it was for babies' faces. When I first applied it to my face it took me a while to spread it since it left my olive face unnaturally white. The formula was also very greasy and I did not like it at all.
Thought by the name it would be the most gentle that I could find,(for babies!) but after using it for 4 days in the florida sun at Disney my son's face was covered with red burning bumpy skin,not sunburned (60 spf# but red and burning #on fire) from the irritation from the sunscreen. Had to continue to use it because there were no other choices that sounded any better and I didn't want him to get sunburned on top of that! He was crying from the pain! Only thing that helped was to stop using it on our way home!
