This one is made with Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, natural minerals. Works well. Stays on my skin without dripping into my eyes, even on the hottest days. Washes off easily with Neutrogena naturals purifying cream cleanser.
I have used this product for at least three years. I am highly UV sensitive so I need a good broad spectrum sun screen year round as lights in buildings are a problem for me as well. In addition, I have sensitivity to chemicals and perfumes so many that I have tried in the past left me with rashes. With this product I not only get great sun and UV protection but no rashes. The only problem I have is that it is hard to find in my area. I was extremely excited to find that I could order it directly from the company.
Bought this for our trip to FL last week. Thank goodness that I only used it two days. Applied to arms, chest and shoulders for two days. Showered in between, etc. Red, bumpy and rough rash across each area that the sunscreen touched. So thankful that I did not use this product on my face. Disappointed since Neutrogena is usually the best. Not this product however. Saving it to take to the dermatologist in case this doesn't clear up shortly.
I have been using Neutrogena products for years and purchased his product for a wee long beach vacation with family. I have mild skin sensitivities and was glad to find a product specific for sensitive skin. After one day of use, with very minimal sun exposure due to weather, I broke out in to a full blown red, patchy, itchy rash on my arms and legs. This caused me to have to avoid any other sun exposure this week and spend my vacation on antihistamines. After reading other reviews, I now see that this is a very common reaction. I do not recommend this product to anyone and feel the formula needs to be changed.
I bought this for use at the beach. I wish I had read up on it beforehand. Not only does it not provide spf 60, it caused a severe burn on my cheeks after less than an hour on my face. I had to go to a dermatologist for a corticosteroid, and will likely have to do follow up treatments for discoloration. I am in my late 40s and have been diligent about avoiding sun. I am devastated by this experience.
Just used this product for the first time and it caused my face to have a burning sensation. The day after face was all read and I have white bumps in some spots. This is suppossed to be for sensitive skin?!?! Neutrogena should recall this product...look at all of these reviews that say the same thing!! Obviously something wrong with it...;.
Neutrogena Sensitive Skin has caused extremely itchy, red bumps that take a few weeks to go away to form on the areas it was applied. I've read this on many other reviews, and on each the company has responded with this isn't typical. With this many complaints, it seems to me to be pretty typical.
Oh how I wish I read the reviews for this product!! I thought I was safe since it's for sensitive skin. I just spend a weekend in the sun using this product, and my arms, face, neck and legs are covered in an unbearably itchy, red rash! It's so itchy, I want to scratch my skin off! This was my first time to try a physical sunblock, and I'm scared to try something else at this point. The Clear Face formula also dried my face out so badly, I switched to this one, but that was worse!
I bought this product for my husband and kids who have really sensitive skin for a family reunion in az. This product is terrible . It ate all of our faces . My sons eyes are so dry that its cracked and now he cries because his face burns. DO NOT BUY IT
I have tried well over 20 sunscreens in my life and the only one I did not allergically react to was the old Neutrogena sensitive skin SPF 30. When they stopped making it, I tried this sunscreen and was so disappointed to find that both my younger brother and I were extremely allergic to it. I tried to figure out what I was allergic to, but so many of the ingredients were changed between the new and old version that it was impossible. I have since been unable to find a sunscreen that I do not react to.
