It doesn't take much sun for me to get severely burned, so good, high SPF, sunscreen has always been a necessity for me. I have oily skin that would only be made worse by most sunscreens. I had used a few high end oil-free facial sunscreens in the past that worked well, but I think the Neutrogena has given me better protection at a lower price. Whenever I know I'll be outside for an extended period of time, I will always use this on my face. It's fantastic on its own, but I was also blown away by how well it worked under my makeup. When wearing this + a full face of makeup, I will apply a light layer of moisturizer, this sunscreen, and then my face makeup. I honestly love it both as a sunscreen and a primer- it keeps my skin matte for hours. Scent. After using this for a year and a half, I can't imagine using any other sunscreen on my face.

I've used SO many sunscreens during my lifetime but nothing comes close to this one! The spf is just right, protecting me from UVA and UVB. The best thing about the sunscreen is that it's absolutely lightweight! They weren't kidding when they said Ultra Sheer. I have combination skin with a dark skin tone and it's very difficult to find the right product that doesn't leave a white cast and doesn't make look like I bathed in oil. It leaves the perfect amount of dewiness on my face, for that sunkissed look. I'm so happy with it :) The formula is lightweight and non greasy, and is water/sweat resistant. I've been using this product for years and I love it. It goes on super smooth. If you do put on a lot I will say you might have a slight white backlash on you but if you rub it in then you're fine. Just don't forget to rub it in. It smells so refreshing and it feels like the sunrise bounce off me when I'm wearing this.

My dermatologist gave me a sample, and I am so impressed that I will be getting a moisturizer from Neutrogena too when I run out of my Aveeno. I love the Aveeno too, but I would like to try more of the Neutrogena products. Actually, I am using a scar care product under this. The oiliness of the product with this over it is perfect for under my makeup. This is an 85+ product. I take meds that make me photosensitive, and at age 50-someting I got brown spots on my face. for the past few years especially, one of them started turning black, and it grew large and deep. It is not cancer, but now I have a scar after removal. I am going to be using bleaching cream on the leftover brown spots in the AM, and use this during the day and through the night. I will just have to remember to apply twice. The dry formula will work great in the Summer, not making a slathering mess. I am so worried that I am afraid my SPF 30 will not work very well, with my skin problems, so this nice generous tube, with a product that I will only need to use a bit of every time, is great.
