Every year, I battle my pale teen with sunscreen. This was a winner! He applies it quickly and easily, and it doesn't cause breakouts. It's easily transportable, and he can spray not just his face with it but his arms, too, and he's protected from the sun.
This sunscreen is a favorite bc it's not greasy and doesn't feel heavy on my skin. It's easy to apply and also doesn't leave any kind of white cast afterwards…it just blends easily and clearly into your skin without looking oily. I also like the fact that it doesn't have a strong scent; it's very mild and pleasing.
The most is very fine and the formula is light enough for everyday use over makeup but also water resistant enough for outdoor activities or a day at the beach. Love it.
I have tried every sunblock from cheap to super expensive. This is very light and actually! Dries! so it is not constantly smearing around or gooping into your eyes and blinding you. I just used this to drive across america with, no irritation or sunburn whatsoever after the sun coming through my windshield 8 hours a day, and I am as pale as it gets! WARNING do not just spray it on your face though, it absolutely will get in your eyes. I just spray it on my fingers and put it on that way because the spray nozzle is not what you would hope it would be.
This mist is very lightweight and dries quickly. Although it is called Face Mist it is not supposed to be sprayed directly on the face. I use about 3 pumps of the mist into one palm and apply it with my fingers. What I especially like is that it stays dry even when I am sweating. Useful for regular daily wear, but I use the zinc products if planning to be outside for long periods of time.
This is a great product to have handy. I don't always have to apply an SPF moisturizer and can bring it in my bag when I am going to be outdoors. I've also used this to protect my hands. It's very light yet effective.
Heard about Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Face mist in an article about being able to SPF-up after you've put on make-up, but when I received Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Face mist and read the fine print, I realized that you're meant to spray it on your hand and rub it into your face, which would smear already-existing make-up. Was hoping it was more of a mist-and-setting spray. Otherwise, it seems fine: not scented, not too oily, and hopefully it's protecting my skin!
I like that it's non-aerosol and non-greasy, especially for the face area. However, it does not hold up in the pool and is not waterproof. My daughter went swimming and her face got burnt.
The sunscreen is easy to apply because I just mist it on top of my makeup. It also provides spf 55 which is better sun protection. It has an invisible finish and doesn't leave a white cast.
The whole reason I bought this was to be able to spray on and reapply but the stream is so condensed I have to spray into my hand and rub in which defeats the purpose of it being sprayable. I also which neutrogena would invest in more sustainable packaging
