I have super sensitive skin when it comes to sunscreen and the sun. I will get hives as soon as I step out into the sun. This is the ONLY sunscreen I will wear on my body. I also love that it does not make your skin as greasy as most other sunscreens.
This is the best sunscreen for kids who won't stand still for sunscreen! My son runs back and forth from water to the beach all day and this keeps him protected and is so easy to reapply since he wants to stay out in the sun all day long! Plus is smells amazing, it reminds my of a watermelon slushie.
It is easy to apply for wet skin without whitening, it is a breathable protective layer that visibly repels water. Highly recommended.
Our whole family went on vacation (parents, grandparents, siblings etc) and our 3 year old daughter was the only child who didn't get burned. She was the only one using the Neutrogena wet skin 70+, she was in and out of the pool and ocean every day - all day for 9 days. She barely even got a tan, we made sure to reapply every two hours or so. We would spray her and let her immediately jump in the water. She loved that she didn't have to wait to get in the water and so did we. We will continue to use this product as long as it produces the same results. We also use it on our 14 month old son at our home pool in Virginia.
I bought this product for my grandkids' visit this summer, ages 10 to 6, and they were in the pool everyday for several hours. All are fair skinned and not one got sumburned or even a tan! We used it on our great-nieces, 1 years olds, and another grandbaby that is 1 and, again, no burns. And we live in Texas where we've had over 100 degree temps since late May!! This is the best product I've seen that truly lives up to it's advertising and I have recommended to everyone, even all my friends on Facebook!
We have used the Neutragena Ultra Sheer sunscreen for years without issue. So I didn't hesitate to borrow my friend's Neutragena WetSkin kids spray. My son broke out horribly from a rash everywhere it was applied. It may be acrylates that are listed twice in this product's ingredients. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
my grand-daughter went to the beach yesterday...my daughter bought this for the first time...she came home with a terrible burn ...she's also running a fever...will never use this product again....however we will continue to use the pure and free baby...stay with what works.
We put this sunblock on for our child's little pool party. Everything looked fine until he came in for the evening. His poor little back and arms was covered in a rash only in the places we put the sunblock. He complained that it itched an asked for us to put something on it to make it stop. I will NOT put this on him or my daughter again!
We recently went to Florida so I purchased this product, thinking it would work great with all the beach/swimming activity we had planned. We used this on our 6 and 8 year old boys, who do not have sensitive skin and have never had any previous issues with other sunscreens. We applied it to their noses, cheeks and ears by spraying it onto our fingers and then wiping it onto those facial areas. The boys complained that it felt "funny" going on, and the soray was very cold. That evening, we noticed that both boys looked like they had a chemical burn on the exact areas that we had applied the sunscreen. Their faces looked like "road rash", similar to when a child scrapes their face when taking a spill from a bike, etc. As a pediatric nurse, I monitored them for any other signs of a reaction and we began applying antibiotic ointment to assist in the healing. I'm not sure what type of chemicals have been added to assist in the "wet skin" application, but I would advise other parents to use caution when applying this sunscreen. As for our family, we will begin using a zinc sunblock instead.
I cannot believe it! I applied this 4 times costing it all over my kids at the river thinking it be the best waterproof spf 70 -wouldn't have to worry… nope they are burnt so bad all of them!
