This is an excellent product. Holds up well but can also be removed when necessary. Best part is it will keep the wound dry, even after getting wet. I have used this many times with very satisfying results. Works much better than bandages, especially for hard to bandage areas such as finger tips!
This is the best thing going for small cuts and abrasions. i use it where my work belt rubs on my waist. this is the ONLY thing that works. great product.
This is a spray on, type of bandage. I is not east to get the direct area with the force it comes out, but other than that, it pretty much completely seals off the whole wound! I didnt like the (looks like there is scotch tape on the skin) look, but it is transparent, so its more of a gloss look. Burns bad for only a few seconds to kill bacteria which is GREAT, then becomes numb so that the surface no longer hurts or itches, if it did before applying.
I love New Skin brush on so I thought spray on would be easier and better but I was wrong. The spray is hard to control and the product is much thiner than the brush on so you don't really get a good bandage with any physical protection. This form of delivery would probably be good for large burns that you want to keep air away from but not really effective for cuts and scrapes. Manufacturer does say this spray is for larger areas so I can't fault them just use it for the intended purpose large areas not curs and scrapes. I am going back to brush on as I like the thicker bandage it gives even if it is slower to apply.
I had Chemo treatments and the skin on my arms tear easily, the "New Skin" spray works great on large areas.
Put it on as soon as you feel any rawness or pain, and use at least 2 or 3 coats.
great for quick fixes works well
This is my first time using any of these New Skin products. It is ok. It stinks pretty bad for awhile after applying, takes a long time to dry and is very hard to control. I have a smallish cut on my knuckle when I try to cover it with this it comes out fast and in a different spot on my finger which makes more mess and more waste of an expensive product. It does help protect the cut once it is on but does kind of have a freaky shiney look which is not a big deal. It peals off after a few days.
The first time I used this product, everything went well as expected. However, since that very brief first use, the spray canister that the " new skin" is in, does not work/spray any product anymore?! The product is of no use, if I can not access/use it?!
i was using the liquid in a bottle. great to keep on hand. when i saw the arerosol spray it seemed like a better idea. sadly, that didn't work out. with the spray you loose some testing the spray and getting the right aim. but the big draw back is that the spray mechanism kept locking up. by playing with it sometimes it would work but again wasting some sprays. very quickly it wouldn't work at all. maybe the spray without the arerosol can would be better but because of the increase in cost i'm ordering the liquid one again.
