When I found out I was going to receive NYC's city proof eyeliner I was thrilled! I'm even more thrilled now that I've used it! I live in very humid muggy NC and while I love it hear you just about can't wear eyeliner because it's going to run right off, but this STAYS! Finally! It goes on dark and smooth and stays were you put it! Brilliant! I tested NYC New York Color for free, but all opinions are my own.
I LOVE this eyeliner! I got this line free in exchange for my honest review and I freakin LOVE IT! It glides on so gently that it does not pull the eye lid as you move accross your lid. The gentle tip of the liner makes application easy and quick. #Influenster #Gotitfree
I love how easily this color glides on. Some of the pencils I have used in the past have pulled at my eyelid or skipped as I was drawing on my upper lid. I had none of that with this. I got the dark brown color. I usually go for black but after seeing how great this looks with my skin tone I think I will be doing dark brown from now on. I tested NYC New York Color for free, but all opinions are my own.
This eyeliner is such a stud! The pigment is rich and applies easily (think smooth and svelte), which is hard to find in a pencil eyeliner. What’s more, it lasts all day and night without smudging or running. I even wore this baby to my brother’s wedding recently and through tears of joy and dancing the night away the eyeliner stayed put. Love this product!
I only wear black eyeliner and I often hate how it never lasts all day. Plus, I rub my eyes a lot (for some weird reason) and this often messes up or totally removes my eyeliner by the end of the day. With this one, that's NOT an issue at all. It stays put and doesn't smudge or go anywhere. It truly does last 24 hours. I even have a hard time removing it, that's how long-lasting it is! It's not just beautifully black, it beautifully lasts!!
I absolutely love this eyeliner, the color is perfect for me and I can only find it at Wal-Mart. I've had to order online from Ebay or Amazon in the past when Wal-Mart was out of stock but Wal-Mart has the best price. Please don't stop selling this item!!!
The City Proof 24HR Waterproof Eyeliner is an easy to use, long lasting product. I wore it for New Year's Eve and it lasted all night. It holds a strong pigment and gives a bold look. My only problem is that it is very difficult to make a small, thin line with this pencil. I may try to use a small eyeliner brush with it next time, but the pencil makes it difficult to make such exact lines. I received this product through Influenster for testing and review, but all opinions are my own.
I don't wear makeup often but when I do, eyeliner is essential so I'm always looking for a great eyeliner. This lived up to my standards. The application was really smooth and I didn't have to press too hard to get some pigmentation, like you have to do with some cheap eyeliners. The color looked great and stayed on really well. Might have to sharpen it often since it is a little soft and dulls easier, if you want to get a precise cat eye look.
I found this to be one of the easiest eyeliners to put on. There was still some pull, but it worked good. It was easy to make a thin line or build it up into a thicker one. The black color is nice, but I found I had to go back over some spots that went on thinner. It really is waterproof and lots all day. I didn't notice any irritation around my eyes. I received this product for free to test and review.
I received this eyeliner in my Influenster Jingle VoxBox, and I am glad I got to try out this new product. The eyeliner applied smoothly, smudged nicely, and stayed on for a reasonable amount of time. The color, however, is not as richly pigmented as I want it to be. I needed to reapply at least twice in order to achieve to intensity that I needed. I tested NYC New York Color for free, but all opinions in this review are my own.
