This little heater packs a punch in performance yet doesn't take up too much space. Easy to run, works well; overall a great choice! It's perfect for the garage but would also work well in a small shop or room.
I use this in our garage during cold nights for our cats. It's perfect to keep them warm. It's safe because the front is not hot to the touch. It warms well. It's durable.
The main purpose for getting this heater was for my shop, but I have found many uses for it because of its portability. It is very easy to handle and runs extremely quiet. I like the fan function and then adding heat as needed. It keeps air circulating and puts out enough heat to take the chill out of the air. This heater is a huge step up from normal heaters of the same size.
I have had this for about a week now and I absolutely love it. Finally a heater where the body doesn't get extremely hot. This heater can run for hours and you can still touch the exterior case and not worry about burning your hands. I love that if my dog or my kids get too close to it, they won't be burned. It's a great little space heater that quickly warms up your work area.
We are so glad that we have the NewIr Portable 120v Electric Garage Heater, we are just sorry we did not have it sooner. The adjustable head is perfect for warming up the lower part of the garage or tilting it UP to warm up the air a bit higher. Living in Pennsylvania, there's never a shortage of reasons to use the NewAir portable garage heater. With Halloween, it was so cold that we had it heating the garage so we could go in, warm up and yet still tend to the candy table and see the parade of costumes trick or treating. Honestly, this is so easy to use, we just set it on the ground, near nothing flammable, plug it in, tilt the head where we want it to heat, and it does it's thing. Once the air is warmed, we let the fan run to move the air through. Being able to control the minimum heat to max is also great, but the best part was pulling it right out of the box and using it. When we are working in other areas in the garage, we just move it with an easy-grip handle and no getting burned as the cool touch housing keeps the unit's exterior cool. Then, as we move into the Holiday Season, stringing lights outside is super frigid on the hands and we freeze, so we take a few breaks and heat up in the garage and then return outside, without having our fingers so cold we can't work. It's nice to not have to suffer through the cold in the garage. We don't have to stop and go in and warm up, then lose our momentum. Best garage item to own for all cool-weather projects!

Plugged them in fired them up and within a few hours the garage was warmer by 15 degrees. That might not sound like much but these are just a couple of small floor heaters that really have no place trying to keep a double car garage warm. All I really wanted was a way to keep me warm while I finished putting the insulation on the garage door. Did a fine job, and now I have a way to stay warm while working in the garage without spending tons of money.
Not sure if this thing of defective or just a piece of junk. Sorry but it put out no heat worth anything. Would not recommend.
I was shocked that it didn't heat our garage. It was really bad. It took almost all day to get it a little warm. Very disappointed
