I live in Utah where it is not only hot in the Summer, but it is also incredibly dry. I love how this Fan utilizes Water to cool the room while adding a bit of moisture to it. It was super easy to set up. The water tank is in the back and even comes with some ice packs to add to the cooling ability of the evaporative fan. There is also a convenient window on the front of the fan showing you the water level for the water tank. It was easy to move and position where I wanted to cool certain areas of our room thanks to the wheels and side handles. I loved that it could be controlled on the body itself as well as via remote in case I don't want to get up. We had the fan set up in just minutes and it worked soo fast. Within minutes of turning on the fan, our room temperature had dropped several degrees to a perfect temperature. I totally recommend this Everaperatuve Fan to anyone looking for a fan that actually cools a room. Perfect for people who live in dry climates.

This fan is more than just your average fan. It circulates air and gets rid of dry heat so well. I love how it is small enough to not take up a ton of space, but large enough it does the entire room. It's also eco friendly!
The short of it: it does what it is advertised to do, honestly cools nicely, makes warm sunny rooms more livable, and if you're like us and can't install A/C, just buy it!! We have no way of putting an air conditioner in our home (casement windows) and didn't wanna pay $$$ on our electricity bills. This is a great alternative, and a life-saver compared to nothing at all. It cools a small area nicely - it's not cold, but more like a cool cool breeze (haven't tried ice yet tho!). All the features are nice, the shape is sleek and the wheels make moving/putting away easy. The 'oscillation' is actually a cyclone shape for a 'more targeted cooling', which doesn't work for sweeping cool air across the room. But everything works nicely and it's not an unattractive addition to the room. For reference, we live in east Los Angeles - sometimes dry, sometimes humid, consistently in the 80s and 90s in the summer. We live on the second story, south-facing with old windows with no seal. It gets toasty in our place. These make our little office/dining room and our sunny sunny living room livable during the day. It's not cold (keeps the immediate area in the lower 70s I'd say), but I can finally wear pants and I no longer have a constant sheen of sweat while working at the computer.
We received our two days before a heatwave in California. It was very easy to set up. It literally took us minutes. The unit is lightweight yet sturdy, add the ice packs to really cool the air down. It was going to go in my sons room but my husband wants it in the living room instead. He loves it, unfortunately so does my son. We'd buy another.
The works well for what it does! It will cool the room by maybe 10 degree by my estimate. So if it's gonna be 100 degrees out, it won't do the job as say a regular AC, but this is gonna run a lot cheaper in cost. However for LA if the room is say 90, going down to an 80 is a big help. Remote works well and changing the water is a breeze. Also comes with some ice pack things which do make a big difference. When I bought it, I had several friends ask me about it and I'd definitely recommend. Conventional fan that uses basic science of using water to cool the room. If you are thinking about getting one of these, likely you should just get it. I'm happy with mine. Also was delivered on time as expected.
With summer approaching our bedrooms are starting to get warmer. My daughters room is usually the hottest in the house but this year our boys room is already getting hot. This fan was perfect to help with cooking down the room without us having to run our air all day and night at super low temps. It's portable so we can take it with us to other rooms and even on our porch in warm evening when we want to relax. The ice packs really does help with making the air cooler and the water container was easy to fill and put back into the unit. The longest time for initial use was waiting for the packs to cool but you can use it with just cold water from you pipes and feel the difference right away. It's a great way to cool down and one we will be using for a long time.

However, every time we pull out the water container to refill it back up, water always drips out of the bottom of the unit on our hardwood floor. This is definitely not good! If someone could help us with this, I would love to upgrade my review! This is the only issue that we have, but it is starting to ruin our floor. Thank you.
