hi, I bought for my mom that same model with another brand, could somebody tel me the exact model for the electric motor used on it? I just need that to make it work again, please see the pictures
I am so impressed with this portable cooler! We have a two-story home in Northern California and we love how this product cools our upstairs without having to run our AC unit. I would highly recommend this cooler.
We really enjoy this unit, in one of our bedrooms the central air doesn't do a great job due to the layout of the house. We installed this in the bedroom and it's super cool and easy to sleep. Night and day difference. The settings are powerful and moving it to high will freeze you out!
I was lucky to receive this cooler and do an on-line review. This cooler is ready to go right out of the box. I added water and turned it on and it worked fine. Today it is 94 degrees of dry heat in Colorado Springs, CO. My house is 77 degrees in the upper level! This cooler definitely cools! I put water in it manually - not hooked up to a hose. I like the 10.6 gallon capacity. Does it make noise? Yes, it is loud, but regular box fans are loud, too. It is not going to break the sound barrier though. It rolls easity, too. Of course, I have vinyl flooring in the rooms I use the cooler. The instructions are easy to follow, too. If you live in a dry climate - I highly recommend this cooler. Coolers do not work well in humid climates.
I use this in my shop and it's works great!! It keeps it nice and cool, even with my big garage doors open!! This cooler is Amazing! I would give it 6 stars ⭐️ if I could!!
We have this set up on our patio. It's 100 degrees outside right now and this is blowing cold air, I'm impressed! Set up was super easy, nothing to put together except the hose at the back! You can also just manually put in water, even ice cubes!!! We should have gotten one of these sooner!!!
I got this cooler for the guys in the shop at my work. They are out there all summer without air conditioning and it's pretty brutal. This unit is helping them stay cool and is lowering the temperature of our rather large shop with no problems. The guys set it up by filling the reservoir with water (10.6 gallons). They haven't used the included hose connection yet. When on and running, the unit blows really cool air and is relatively quiet. Standing in front of it, I can feel a really cool, really strong breeze that is efficiently cooling our shop down and making their workplace a lot more comfortable. If you're not familiar with an evaporative cooler, it basically pulls water from the reservoir, runs it over the honeycomb filters, producing much cooler air than ambient temperature. There are three switches on top -Cooling, Speed and Swing. There are also two slides next to the fan that allow you to direct the air up or down as needed. This cooler has made their lives a lot better!
We Recently Bought this cooling unit Because the House we recently bought doesn't have a big enough air conditioning unit for the size of house, It was constantly getting pretty hot in the office so we bought one of these portable Air conditioning units and couldn't be more happier with it, It really gets cold and we ended up not having to run it for long periods of time because it brings the room temp down nice and fast!! I Highly recommend This Unit if your needing comfort from the Heat!! Will buy again HANDS DOWN!!
What Is the Frigidaire Indoor and Outdoor Evaporative Cooler, 650 sq. ft.? What it's not is an air conditioner. What it is, is a massive fan that blows air across water as it drips down a honeycomb surface so that the evaporation causes the air to cool as it wafts into your rooms. It won't turn your living room into an icebox, but it will cut 10-15 degrees off the thermometer on hot days. What's in the Box? One Frigidaire Indoor and Outdoor Evaporative Cooler, 650 sq. ft, a hose adapter, and the product manual. Setup: Locate your cooler outside a door or window facing into your un-cooled house. Fill the reservoir with water (preferably cool water), and turn on the fan and cooling effects. Use: There are three knobs: Cooling on/off, fan speed (off/L/M/H), and swing. You can turn the fan on to three levels of power, which are pretty potent. The cooling is where the water starts dripping down the honeycomb and adding the evaporative cooling effect. The swing means the fan blades oscillate left and right a bit to distribute the cooling air. Output: We have had other evaporative coolers before. This is the biggest and most powerful. It will take outdoor hot air, cool it by 10-15 degrees, and then blow it into your home with very satisfying effect. What I like about the Frigidaire Indoor and Outdoor Evaporative Cooler, 650 sq. ft.: It's massive and powerful. It delivers a huge volume of cooled air, and makes a massive difference on warm-to-hot days when we have no other A/C solution. What could be better: Filling the reservoir is not as easy/tidy as it could be. We don't use the adapter to attach a hose directly, so spraying water from a hose into the reservoir is not as simple as it could be. The final verdict: If you live in a dry region with hot days, and you either don't have air conditioning, or want to save a little money against what running A/C can cost, then this is the workhorse you need. It will fill a large room with cooler air quickly, and keep things comfortable for hours. Love this machine! Note: we received a review unit for evaluation. Disclosure: GeekDad received a sample of this item for review purposes.
This is my first Evaporative Cooler, I decided to use it in my garage and see how it works. My garage is attached to my house but not central air cooled like the rest of the home. and in the summer months it gets pretty uncomfortable when I am out here trying to wrench on my Road Glide or some other project I have going on, a fan will help some but only to get air moving around. First off this thing is a Beast so you will need a good amount of space for it, that being said it is built to cool a pretty large area so it isn't a complaint... its more of an observation. the unit looks nice and It cools my space down a couple of degrees in a very short amount of time and keeps the air moving nicely throughout. I love the fact that it has an actuator to move the air side to side. if its blowing directly towards me its pretty dang cold air so I am able to take a nice little break and get back to work. I have not yet tried adding ice to it like the instructions suggest that you can but I think that would be an awesome option for a hot summer day outdoor get together like a Grill out or maybe a graduation party or something like that. The only issue is that I live in Minnesota and here the summers get pretty HUMID, these sorts of units use water to cool which also puts moisture in the air while its cooling your space so some days if its been running a-lot everything will get very damp, thats not a huge issue for my garage but its something to consider depending on where you are going to use it. over all I am pretty happy with it and I am looking forward to trying it out in an outdoor setting...Perhaps this weekend when we have a get together with the neighbors.
