1.Scope of Application of the Product This product is intended for measuring neonatal jaundice. 2.Contraindications Use with caution in sensitive patients; Testing partial skin lesions is prohibited. 3.Matters needing attention "When using this product, users need to carefully read the following precautions. Failure to comply with these precautions may result in deviation of test results or damage to the entire machine." （1.）Avoid vibration, dust, corrosive, flammable, and explosive gas (anesthetic gas, gasoline), high or low temperature, and humidity, and have enough space for easy operation. （2.）If the ambient temperature exceeds the technical limit, the accuracy of the device may be affected, which may cause damage or shorten the service life of the device. （3.）The icterometer should not be placed in a place where a strong electromagnetic field is generated. Portable and mobile RF communication equipment may affect the product of this equipment. （4.）When using the device, the optical probe should be perpendicular to the measuring point, so that the entire end face of the probe is close to the skin surface, otherwise the measurement value will fluctuate. （5.）The device will emit strong light when measuring, it is recommended to measure in the forehead or sternum, and it is forbidden to direct light into the eyes. （6.）Do not place the device on an unstable or sloping surface. Otherwise, the device or base may fall or tip over, resulting in injury. Please be careful not to drop it when moving it. 4. Operation instruction （1.）Open the product package and check whether the product inside the package is complete （2.）Remove the host, open the battery cover, and install the battery Attention: The positive and negative terminals of the battery should be installed correctly; If the battery is low, replace it in time. The battery must be removed when the device is not used for a long time; Used batteries should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Do not discard them at will." （3.）Unplug the probe sleeve and clean the measuring probe with medical alcohol. （4.）Turn the power switch to "ON", after a few seconds the LCD screen will display "0.0". （5.）Press the "Reset" button, the ready indicator will light up after a few seconds, and the screen will display as shown in the picture. （6.）When the ready indicator light is on, make the measuring probe in vertical contact with the measuring part and press gently until the light flashes. When measuring, please note: a）Note that when using, the probe and the measuring point should be vertical, as shown in the figure, otherwise it will produce a large measurement error. b) Please do not press the measuring probe in the direction facing the newborn's eyes to avoid eye damage caused by strong light. （7.）The measurement results are displayed on the display screen,. （8.）After the measurement, turn the power switch to "OFF" to shut down 4. Calibration Function 1.
