i was a little concearned with the price of this rocker and was going to go with a cheaper one but in the end choose this one, and im sooooo glad i did. i love this rocker! its so soft. it rocks smoothly and quietly, and i dont ever want to get out of it. it matches perfectly with my nursery decor too. the pillows are slip covered so if your like me and have a messy toddler at home as well, they come right off and into the wash.
I know everyone buys this chair to rock thier babies but I bought it for my living room and it is the most comfortable chair Ive ever sat in- It looks perfect with my other furniture for watching TV, knitting or taking a nap!
Very nice rocker! Color is perfect! I love the ivory and the material is very soft and adds texture to the room. Chair rocks and swivels easily. Both the ottoman and the chair came fully assembled. Looks higher end than what we paid for. Very comfortable for both me and my 6'1" husband. Excited for our baby to be here and use it to rock him/her.
This chair had high ratings with babies r us but was around 500 And they were out and it only came in hot pink. i didnt care what Color as long as it was comfortable. So i typed in brand of chair In search on inter net and wal-mart came up and it was almost 200 cheaper. I went a head and ordered aand it is extremely Comfortable and all the high ratings are true. Best glider
I sat in this same chair at Babies R Us and FELL in LOVE! Its like sitting on a cloud. We went online to bargain shop and you save $100 buying through Walmart when you do site to store (we got the glider and ottoman)- which was a plus!! We got it and that night I rocked my 3week old in it to sleep. My husband came in and asked me "are you coming to bed?" with a laugh. I said "yes-why are you laughing" he replied "B/c you have been asleep now in that glider for the past 2hrs...just wondering if your going to stay there all night!" LOL I knew I dozed off but had no idea for that long. Its that comfy and roomy. I am also able to rocker both my 2yr old and 3week old at the same time for nap time.
It's a steal for $300, very comfortable and looks good in the baby nursery! It's not for tall people though. Being petite, I love it! My fiancé on the other hand is over 6ft and it's to small for him.
I just got this in! I read all kinds of reviews and after sitting in this glider at babies r us I decided it was the one for us. You're going to be living in it, so it better be comfortable! And it is! I'm still a month away from due date so I can't speak for how it holds out (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). But it is really comfortable so far. Super soft. I don't see why the matching foot stool was so expensive though. Over half the price of the chair seems ridiculous. I can't afford both pieces. This chair was less through Walmart though. I do believe it is a beautiful chair and looks great in the nursery.
We ordered this chair at Walmart after originally seeing at Babies R Us for quite a bit more price wise. This chair is great, comfy, and fits all of our needs for less expensive price as competitors had listed it for. Overall we are very pleased & can't wait to rock our lil bundle of joy!
I purchased this rocker because I saw that it had positive reviews; however, upon receiving it, I was disspointed. This is a very soft and pretty chair. It also felt comfortable to sit in as well. What disspointed me about the chair was that the back was not high enough for me to lean my head back against without slouching. I am only 5'3". In addition, I did not feel that the chair was comfortable to rock in. The chair rocks and the ottoman glides so it felt very awkward when I tried to glide or rock in the chair. I am still 9 months pregnant, but I could not imagine enjoying rocking a baby in this chair. Thefore, we decided to return the chair to replace with a traditional wooden glider that has the seat cushon on top.
I received this chair fairly quick but unfortunately I sat on it and the glider part of the chair was rubbing from the metal to wood and just did not glide properly. I now have to take the glider back to the store and exchange it or try another product! How inconvenient considering I haven't been able to sit in it with my new baby! Junk!! I do t care how cost efficient it is! Don't buy this!
