These were produced in the 70s 80s and 90s.mine are still in perfect shape. Mom stored hers outdoors and they are now cracking after 20 to 30 years of good service..... Please get these back in the stores coast to coast or globally. It's the perfect bucket for most tasks 11qt. They have a bit bigger bucket too at 14 qt... But not as shapely and the bigger one is heavy to use. The 11qt is perfect size. Mine holds cleaning products under the sink until in use
My previous bucket, a superb bucket, has served me well for every bit of ten years and finally developed a minuscule leak on the bottom, evidenced only by wet ring on a surface when I moved it. I am so pleased Rubbermaid still makes such a good product.
This bucket is sturdy and is shaped perfectly for mopping and window cleaning. I expect this bucket to last me several years.
The bucket is great. I have been using it for about a month; so far do good. It has the lip do it makes it easier for me to pour water out and the handle stays level to the bucket so I do not have to lean that far down to reach for the handle.
I used this bucket to capture a leak from a water softener - its shape allowed me to place it under pipe, between water softener and wall. After leak was fixed, bucket is good for other uses.

Very sturdy. I like the heavier plastic. Much more durable than the cheap buckets.
I have a number of these buckets that I use seasonally and for several task. I use them for measuring water and pouring into an ATV mounted sprayer tank, measuring out quantities of seed to easily pour into 20 lb. bags, weighing out small quantities of fertilizer, or for collecting soil samples in the field. I have had some for as many as 14 or 15 years. I first found these at Home Depot, but I cannot find them locally, now, and am needing replace some. I hope I can find an online site to order more.
This Rubbermaid bucket model 038A developed a 3 inch crack on the bottom without really being used. It sat on the porch and in the garage and was never stored in the sun. It still looks like new, except for the large crack on the bottom. I have other Rubbermaid buckets that are square, and round designs that are way older than this one that are still in great shape.
