Loved this camera! Bought it for my 5 year old's birthday. Thought it was a little pricie, but it is a VERY durable camera. The pictures and video are not high quality, but for a kid's first camera, I thought was pretty good. Very easy to use. I researched several before buying and I am glad I got this one! I would highly recommend it if you are shopping for a small child a camera. My 5 year old LOVED it!
My son received the gender neutral version for Christmas. His version is grey/purple with an interchangeable faceplate: purple/pink. He loves it! very easy to use. great editing features. easy to connect to computer. one of the best kids toys i've seen in a while.
before buying this product i read a lot of reviews on it and i have to admit some of them scared me everyone said it took poor pictures and the battery dies quickly i bought the camera put digital batteries in it and it lasted a good couple of weeks with my daughter taking pictures 24hrs a day! i love it. the only potenially negative thing is it does take poor pictures in low light and when you have a 2 yr old thats moves a lot they don't understand they have to hold the camera still to take a great picture but thats ok!
My 7 year old received this for Christmas and has had a blast with it! She has taken over 200 pictures with no memory card and the batteries are still going strong too! the picture quality is not bad at all for a kid's camera. The frames and editing tools are great and she loves the games! Perfect for the young shutterbug!
My stepmom bought this camera online for my 4 yr old daughter and it got here the next day. My little girl immediately wanted batteries and has taken it everywhere. She won't put it down at home. I read all the reviews before picking it and am so glad we chose this camera. The editing extras are fun for the whole family! She loves the games and can control the camera functions easily. We purchased this with our first family vacation to Aruba in mind and are so glad she had this to take on the plane and the trip.
This is a great STARTER camera. My daughter loves to have her own camera so that she can take pictures. The picture quality is not that good but that is to be expected since it is a kids camera and it only cost $59.96.It has served its purpose and we are happy with it cause our daughter who is almost 4 loves it!!
My 3 year old daughter got this camera for Christmas (12-24-08) and already I am impressed at the durability of the camera, she has already taken at least 220 pictures and she loves it! Like most people I read tons of reviews about the children's camera's on the market and opted to go with this one. The pictures aren't that great but for a first kid's camera it's good! The number feature I love about this camera is it has automatic shut off, it goes off by itself which is great since I am always reminding my daughter to turn it off. Haven't had a problem with the batteries so far and she has played with it nonstop for at least 2 hours in one sitting since she has had it. It is very kid friendly and easy to operate! I would recommend this camera.
I did lots of research before buying this camera for my daughters and I am pleased to say it has exceeded my expectations. The quality of the camera far excceds others in the category. Great special effects, easy to use and the pictures look great. The movie and game features have been great fun for my six year old.
I bought this camera for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it, but I am not too crazy about it. It works just fine. Battery life is good. Very durable. But the picture quality is horrible. If the flash is on, the entire picture comes out white. My daughter can take some good pictures without the flash. But the camera did make my daughter happy, so I am happy. Thats what matters, right? For her first camera, it works...
My 7 year old loves to take pictures with my moms digital camera. So for Christmas she got this. The pictures aren't good unless you are close to the object, and the light is good. If the child cannot keep their hand still they aren't clear. My niece who is 4 got one of these and absolutely loves it, and i think it is great for her. She takes tons of pictures, and videos, and uses the games, and decorations for the photos. Just not for an older child. If you have an older child, spend a little more, wait for a deal, and make sure they are careful with a real digital camera.
