I have been using this product now for 30 days and happy to say I have quit smoking. as long as you do exactly as what is told on the package of how to use it your good to go . Just remember not to bite it just let it sit in your mouth and then switch sides to the other cheek. I also started a diary or the reasons I wanted to quit. And everyday I write in it . That help as well cause I can go back and read what my reasons and thoughts have been . I still get cravings for a cigarette sometimes but if you have the will power and keep yourself busy like crosswords, puzzles, reading a good book that helps also. Also when it is not to cold outside I will take a walk . The lozenges for me last almost an hour. I am happy I chose this step . I have tried cold turkey and that is not the way to go. Make goals for yourself and take it one day at a time .
My husband likes these lozenges, however he likes the cappuccino flavor the best. He thinks that the lozenges are easy to use and oftentimes better than using the nicotine gum. They last a long time - sometimes about 45 minutes and that's a long time to be sucking on a lozenge of any type - but you can take it out and take a break if you want to. I have used them as well, and they taste good! We both recommend this product for help with stopping smoking.
but.. be warned... these lozenges are just as addicting as cigarettes. I have been using these for 4 years now, and am addicted to them . Yes, they are cheaper than cigarettes, and dont anger people like the whole 'second hand smoke' thing, but still costly. As for health risk, I have been told by my dentist that these are the cause of my teeth prematurely rotting on me, sucking on these constantly is not good for teeth, so do not get yourself addicted to them like I did!
I used Nicorette and quit smoking about 2 years ago. It caused horrendous diarreha but I continued with it. When it got so bad I had to quit Nicorette and went back to smoking. I am going to try it again and will begin next week.
