Pros: I needed a good camera to take pictures of the remnants of an aircraft that crashed with high resolution. This camera is fantastic! Great autofocus and superior exposure. I think that I bought the best camera for my needs. Cons: None that I can find. Other thoughts: Buydig.com delivered what I wanted, at a great price and delivered it on time.
Pros: Lighter and smaller than my D50 with many more features including Nikon's Live View which I really like. I've yet to explore this camera's many features but I was able to take great photos and 1080P videos of my one year old grandson right out of the box. Cons: None to date that I've encountered but I'm not a professional photographer. Other thoughts: This is a fine camera. I read a number of reviews on the web, covering this camera's pros and cons as well as how it stacked up against its in-class competitors. I am enjoying use of this the D5300 which replaced two older Nikon cameras I own.
Pros: Love the camera and the service from Beach Camera was great. Beach Camera will be my choice in the future for camera equipment purchases. Still exploring the different options with the D5300 but I find it very easy to operate and it takes great pictures. Not sure how I could ask for better service or equipment, the price was reasonable (the best I found anywhere during my search) and I love the camera. I intend on purchasing a larger telephoto lens in the near future and Beach Camera will be my place to buy. Cons: For a new DSLR owner I have no cons at this time.
Pros: I was pleased with this camera order. The camera was in like new condition and both lenses were as new also. The packaging was very good and the shipment time was very good also. It came with a case that though small is also very well constructed. It holds the camera, flash, both lenses, plus two other small lenses and filters, etc. So far every thing works well and I am pleased with the performance of this product. Cons: One way to improve the deal would be to include a Nikon users book to supplant the little factory book
Pros: Ray was very helpful, and the delivery (2 days) was very quick.Competitors don't even seem to be able to answer the phone. I prefer to buy things like this in a local store, so I can hold the item before buying. Sadly, the internet has driven the local camera stores out of business. But in this purchase, things went very well. Cons: The bundled filter kit fits the 55-300mm lens only; the 18-55mm lens requires a 52mm filter. I had to buy that separately.[...]
Pros: After doing lots of internet searching Beach had the best deal of any real Nikon dealer, and the call and service were easy, the delivery very quick, the sales rep helpful and friendly. Cons: The bundle should have included another UV filter for the zoom lens, and it should include a lens cloth or two.
Pros: Camera came fast, works no issues Cons: Customer service wasn't fantastic I called being a cheapskate wanting a credit for the 9 dollar price drop roughly the day after I bought the camera the rep said she couldn't find it on their website for that price and said for me to find it and send her the link after doing so I haven't heard anything back I thought about returning the product and buying elsewhere when I see a comparable deal but I'll just eat the nine dollars and do business elsewhere for future purchases
Pros: None Cons: The first day camera fell down on carpet and zoom got stuck. Contacted buydig. No response for return or warranty information. There is no acknowledgement. Also the orginal camera cap was not there. Just a white plastic cap. Other thoughts: Not happy with customer service
