Definitely was a good purchase for a product that is the perfect step above amateur level to intermediate level. This is a high-quality camera that would be a perfect choice if you were only going to buy that one camera for a lifetime of photography. This camera has more features than most people would ever need, but enough that you dont have to worry about having to upgrade every year to the "latest %26 greatest" product that comes out. Do yourself a favor, buy this camera body, and you definitely won't have to worry about having to upgrade anytime soon!
This is an awesome camera that I upgraded from my entry level D3200. Beach camera helped me really to get my best camera. Thanks to Ray for his wonderful support during the purchase! I also bought a 28-70mm Tamron G2 and 50mm 1.8f Nikkor lens to go with this camera. I would definitely buy my future purchases from Beach camera. #sweepstakes
Probably the last of the d7500s as dx is going away and Nikon will focus on my mirrorless cameras. The camera is really very very good. Seller is good.
The camera is great! However, communication with Walmart and the sender get an F-! FYI, the camera manual is not included. Nor a receipt of any kind! Ive never bought a Nikon camera and not received it eithe. When contacting the seller and Walmart regarding this, more then once, heard absolutely nothing!! Taught me a lesson, do not buy any electronics through Walmart.
It is a Nikon, and I have used the brand for years. All my lenses fit. I haven't had the opportunity to use it much but I have played with the ISO (née ASA) settings and I am impressed. The screen is clear and easily manipulated. Having the mirror click up to use the screen was new as my last Nikon was a D200 which we loved.
The camera is lightyears above the d5500 it replaced. systems work flawlessly. However the wifi bluetooth interface is clunky and the menu sections need to be more use friendly. You can easily get lost in sub menus looking for stuff to adjust or change. Recommend one of the better books to help you maximize the abilities
Been a Nikonian for many years. I recently sold a D5500 and a D7200 and used the money to purchase a D7500 from Beach. Very happy with the camera and the quick shipping from Beach but Fedex didn't deliver it until 7:35 in the evening. The camera is great and the only thing I miss from the D7200 is the dual card slots but that is made up for my the articulating LCD screen. All in all I'm a happy camper.
I will simply quote Lauri below: This camera did not arrive in original packaging. Make me question if it is a refurbished camera. I've only taken a few shots, everything seems to be working okay. Nice camera, but very disappointed in the way it was shipped.
The charging cord and plug are of the type used in Europe, I can't use my camera in california
I purchased this camera because I thought it was new. It was not new. The warranty card was no where to be found. The manual had obviously been flipped through. If it is not a new camera that needs to be clearly indicated. I returned it and purchased a new camera. I'm still waiting for my money to be returned to me. Be very careful when purchasing camera's and who you purchase them from. It was a lesson learned for me.
