Ninja - Foodi Power Blender Ultimate System 72-Oz. Blender, Smoothie Bowl Maker, Food Processor - Platinum

I needed a food processor to help with food prep (due to health issues, I cannot chop food by hand right now). I loved the idea of a food processor and blender in one. It seemed like a great way to have everything I needed, save space by having fewer appliances, etc. However, this definitely doesn't do well as a food processor. The chopping function works inconsistently - chopping food way too small overall, but leaving giant chunks untouched. And it would be nice if the slicer had different thicknesses to choose from - it slices super thin, and sometimes that just isn't what you want. This is also specifically made for right-handed people, but the description doesn't tell you that! The pitcher can only be placed on the base with the handle on the right, so you have to lock it in and remove it with your right hand. The base also has suction cups on the bottom, which is also not mentioned in the description, so if you don't want to ruin your counter tops, you need to buy a mat to put it on.

This ninja does its job but I ordered this for dough and it doesn't do that job perfectly. The dough blades are small and the jar is pretty big for it so I didn't like it at all and want to return this.

My father-in-law suffered a stroke about a month ago and needed to be on a puréed diet. After a lot of research, we decided to buy the Ninja Foodi Power Blender Ultimate System. It's pretty much perfect to purée his food to the proper consistency, and it makes great smoothies too! The only con so far is that they don't make smaller smoothie cups for this model.

Love my new Power Blender System. Does everything beautifully and really fast! Wish it came with a larger cup for shakes. Gave my single serve Ninja blender and an older blender to my nephew but still couldn't get rid of my Ninja spiralizer. This should have a spiralizer blade available. Amazing how fast and great this is as a food processor. I use this every day for various functions. Love how I can keep the base out without having to lug out different various blenders and glad the large part is plastic.
