This Nintendo DS was a big hit for my 10 yr olds 10th birthday. He has been taking guitar lessions this past year and now can rock on like his idols. We never saw him the rest of the day,he was off playing his games.Sam barely stopped long enough to have cake.Well worth the money you invest into this game
I received this as a gift. Loved it! But, the Guitar Hero game was short on songs, which disappointed me.
THIS THING WAS SO FUN I'VE PLAYED IT FOR 2 DAYS NOW AND ITS EVERYTHING I EXPECTED IT'S REALLY FUN TO PLAY AND EASIER THAN THE ACTUALL GUITAR B/C IT ONLY HAS 4 BUTTONS :)
I bought this product yesterday and I am very satisfied so far. First the ds... it has good sound quality for such a small system. The graphics are great as well. It is well lit and easy to see. And the game...I love it! I'm not that good at guitar hero on the major consoles and I don't own a major console that makes guitar hero. I'm glad they made one for a portable, less expensive system like the ds. Guitar hero: on tour does seem a little easier than its console counterparts but maybe its just me. I also like the loss of one button. Its simpler that way. But it is still a challenge. This was a good deal. I recommend this product to anyone who enjoys guitar hero or to newcomers like myself.
I never thought Guitar Hero could be ported to a handheld, much less one with the "under powered" Nintendo DS. I was proven wrong. This game is beyond brilliant. It FEELS like Guitar Hero. It LOOKS like Guitar Hero. But most importantly, it SOUNDS like Guitar Hero. It offers up a pretty good challenge, even for Guitar Hero veterans. And the set list, while weak, sounds amazing. I cannot praise this game enough. And to top it all off, you get a special edition DS. Beautiful.
It really is good. It could be a must-have also. As the editions keep on coming the quality gets even better. Buy one today for $180.
MY SON LOVES IT. AFTER PLAYING THE GUITAR HERO ON THE Wii, HE NOW CAN PLAY ON THE GO. SOUNDS GOOD THROUGH THE COMPUTER SPEAKERS THAT HAVE AN AMPLIFIER.
This is a really well thought out game. It is not just a re-do of the Guitar Hero game for the Wii or PS. The one thing I did find was I had to read the instructions. There are a lot of little tricks to playing this. My 10 year old daughter will not put this down. The one downside is the hand cramps from hold this with the game in it. It's a little heavy. It's not awkward at all though. My nephew is 7 and he doesn't have any problems with the size of the game either.
It is very important to use screen protectors with this product. They are not included, but are very important to the life of this product.
The Nintendo DS Lite Limited Edition Guitar Hero On Tour Bundle is a bundle which includes a Nintendo DS lite and Guitar Hero On Tour. You may know Guitar Hero, but On Tour is quite different. The DS is top notch. The game is good, but it lacks the feel of guitar. I highly recommend using ear buds so that you will get the full experience. The games accuracy is fair, but you may say, "Hey! I hit that note! But it says I missed it!" The audio is very good for a DS game. But, it is not that loud. To conclude, this is great for a gift! But, not great for the "real" guitar hero fan.
