Cool gift card my husband loved his gift
The error message says the code is no good. And it's ineligible for return.
Card wasnt activated when I got home, went back, people in store were absolutely no help. Had to contact Nintendo directly and they were incredibly friendly and helpful and solved it for me in a couple minutes. Train your staff to be more like them, which means paying them a livable wage and making sure they're trained to do the things they're supposed to. Also maybe rethink the manager working at the customer service counter, she knew nothing about how the store worked. Would give negative stars if I could.
Bought this card as part of an online grocery pickup. When we went to use the card it wouldn't work. Took it back to the store and they refused to make it right. Contacted Nintendo and they said the card was never activated at the store! Will NEVER buy another card from Walmart again. I lost $20 and Walmart made $20 off of me. Never again! Do NOT buy cards from them!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!
if you buy online, make sure you dont mess up the code, cuz they wont give you a receipt whete the code is too
Worst experience I've had shopping online. Ordered this gift card as a valentines gift for my out of state daughter. Arrived and wouldn't work. Reached out to Nintendo who said Walmart had to activate it. Reached out to Walmart through their app. Got an ai assistant who gave me 3 phone numbers to call none of which were even Walmart. Finally got a hold of Walmart and they said they couldn't help. Had her try to activate in store and they couldn't help. According to the person on the phone nothing they can do. When you order them online they don't activate and you can't return. So just threw away my money on a known existing problem and got no customer support.
The card came not activated and showed an error when trying to add funds. I had to reach out to Nintendo directly to resolve the issue. I should have listened to others reviews.

Do not buy these cards online. Walmart employees do not know how to process your order properly. The card comes NOT activated on the retailers end. Walmart's customer service does not know how to fix or activate it, says to contact Nintendo. Nintendo in turn cannot accept it and sends you to retailer to activate it. The card is not eligible for a return. You are stuck with no card and no money.
I bought it as a birthday gift for a friend and the codes didn't work it came up as an error it wasn't because the codes were already redeemed but that they were being excepted. Also it seems to be like that for every one of the $10 gift cards I have received or bought. Probably will never buy again
