Lids are great for keeping paint sealed and from drying out.
They are very difficult to open for refilling or cleaning and they don't fit 1 inch brushes. But they do cut down on spills.
I was very excited to add these to the Melissa and Doug cups we already have. The lids don't stay on tight, so the paint dried up in the cups. Purchased them so there would be less mess for my preschooler, but ended up wasting money on the cups and all the paint.
The lids don't even fit to snap to stay closed. Would send back and not recommend
